Snow, snow, and more snow!

Good Morning on this Sunday, April the 12th-- AND WE HAD A DUSTING OF SNOW OVER NIGHT_hard to believe eh?--April the 12th-- and "SNOW"----Little Lopez thinks the LEATHER CHAIR is his bed--Oh well--I guess it is!--LOL--at least for now--So, I am going out to shovel off  --or sweep off, the car-_kinda depressing---but--What can I do about it--"not much"---Jackie is coming to pick me up--going out for breakfast--I shall return--

Well, I was just out to clean the snow off the car--and around the car also--  There isn't much, which is a good thing--and I hear the weather lady talking about "RAIN"-which sounds good to me!

Good day--It is April  10th--Friday--WITH SNOW FALLING__!!!!! Lord love a Duck! Will this winter ever end??----

The wash is done--  Lopez and Sushi fed----and I must get out and sweep the snow off the car--  my favourite job-- NO NO NO!!!--- Well, not much snow has fallen--just enough to make a mess--  Dave is coming  to pick me up for breakfast--and pretty soon!

        So, stay Positive to-day , as the Lady says above--and if you do, you just may sparkle!

A NEW ATTITUDE TYPE OF DAY_

Good Morning-- It  is Thursday, April the 9th--and it is quarter to 9am--Lopez has been out--(We walked around the block--AND HE DID HIS BUSINESS)---And guess what?--The wash is done~~~~~WooWoo!!! And Ethan, Son#4's son, will stop in here at 1-30pm--  so nice--just to say hello to his Gramma--  Yes, get out there and  face this day, if you already have not-

                                -It's a "NEW ATTITUDE" type of day!!!

                            Lots of wise words I wish I had written -below-

                #1. If you have a loving family, it is amazing what you can do without.

                #2.Fall seven timers--stand up eight!

                #3. Enjoy the life you are given

 Good Morning--Wednesday, April the 8th--overcast--NOT SNOWING--almost 7-30am--The washer is chugging away here and Lopez, Sushi, and I, are up--not too much "at-er"--but--- we are trying-                                    -trying to do hard things--

    It is not raining-- nor snowing--yet----(hope  it doesn't)-but overcast-

Yesterday I tried to get an appointment with my Doctor-I was told I could get in to see him, in June--3 months away-- seems like a long time to wait--I asked Son#3 what people do if it is an emergency-- (which it is not)-but--what if it was?-

-He replied, "Well, people go to Emerg at the hospital---- Life sure isn't the way it used to be , is it??--  Really, nothing is the same as it "used to be"--I guess the key is, "STAY HEALTHY", so one does not need to see a Doctor--I wonder--Is it the same in your part of the world??--Is there a Doctor shortage?

                                So many wise words  that I wish I had written-

                                     #2.Clearly assess your strengths and weaknesses

                                    #3.Offer hope, always

Never neglect older people-

--late blogging--AGAIN---but---  I am finally here--- had to pick up my weeks meds from the pharmacy--Ethan (the Grandson who is now driving,) went with me to the blood Lab --then came with  me to the pharmacy to get the meds----and then I shovelled a path to the neighbour's  house so the mail Lady does not have to walk in and out the driveway--can cut across the lawn in front of the house--always lots to do---

It is a holiday here in Canada---to-day---  so the clinic is not open--but the Lab is, so I could just run up the 49 steps to the Lab----It was not busy, which ment --"No Waiting""--nice!-and in between all the other stuff, of course the washer was on--then done and the dryer also--and Lopez had a wee walk outside--A woman's work is never done--

AND--we still have snow--falling lightly from the sky--and--this is APRIL---a very late Spring in this part of the world--                                      Blasts from the Past

 Good morning on this Easter Sunday--darkish---wet out there--I could hear rain falling in the night--EASTER SUNDAY 2026---April the 5th----The wash is done and in the dryer--  Lopez is down here asleep on the leather chair-(which he thinks is his bed--pretty high class dog bed --LOL)--

So below--is me----  holding Charlee, Son#1's wee girl, with Ethan beside me , who is Son #4's son, and who likes to drive Gramma all over (that is me----"Gramma"-and Emma and Ava -Son #3's girls--both in University now)- Funny--It just seems like yesterday that picture was taken--

So, where on earth was I yesterday??--You know, there are days that  I just cannot hold things together--but, by the days end, the day did turn out just fine!---Time avenges all wrongs--and to-day is a new day--I must remember that there is always more to life than what you see--and I must think big thoughts--so so much to learn isn't there, everyday.

So, ever onward here--I missed you  all yesterday-----It is EASTER___Put on that Easter Bonnet, and get out there to face the day--the world-----and celebrate life----We are alive---

Good day! It is Friday, April the 3rd--almost 10am--The washer is finished--and the dryer is  done also--waiting for me to fold the clothes--  Lopez and I have walked around the block--trying to avoid the ice--  and the cleaning lady is here now--  seems like a lot of  crazy  emails on here-scams maybe??---who knows--Dave will be here in an hour--and we are heading out for brunch--

And the big news is, Yes  I shall be moving--  in August--to an all inclusive place--not here  in Elliot lake--but closer to where Matt lives--and I will not be leaving here for a few months--I WILL NOT TAKE  MY CAR---  LOL--I will not need it there--Everything will be done for me--meals etc--I think that will be a lot less trouble--, that is to-day's news -OH--and ---BE STRONG TO_DAY__-

Remember, the saddest part of growing old, is losing your friends--and, NEVER leave home without your sense of humour----  remember to love  what you do--and being totally alone at times can be very healthy and--you can never go wrong, keeping your mouth shut.

To-day is Thursday, April 2nd--and----  Good day to you all--  We have freezing rain falling outside--and it is still very dark outside--But----  one of these  days, we will get sunshine--  with warm temperatures and butterflies  flying all over, and humming birds---- Well---One can dream eh???

So, yesterday  Son#1's wife, and I went to the  place where they give driving tests--The man working there was ever so nice--told me that I must get my Dr. and soon too, to inform the Ministry of all the moves I have had--Three moves in a short space of time, plus my husband dying--and as he said, that would make anyone lose their memory--and my Dr should inform the ministry--  He really was a good man-- But, nothing is happening ---  still!---

 Good Morning--It is Wednesday April the 1st-----sunshine--and, lollipops maybe--"April Fools Day" is what we used to call to-day--and then we would say to Dad--- "Look, there is a mouse crawling up the wall--", and when Dad would look up, we would  bend over, laughing and laughing--"April Fools Day-"------

If we were at  Grampa's house, in Port Perry, Grampa would always play that "Mouse Game"------APRIL----the beginning of summer-----Usually the Humming Birds return soon around this day----fly around the kitchen window , looking for their feeders--What on earth will they do this year as I am not there to fill their feeders--????

Yes, Be Strong Lynda---  Maybe forewarn the new people living in our home there now--???

Changes---  One must adapt--move on---Control your thinking--Look at things in a new way--

Take everything with good humour and a grain of salt--memories are unrepeatable--So---a short blog this am---because I am soon off to repeat doing a memory test---will return soon---
