Good Morning Sunshine!

Good day to you all--To-day is Wednesday, November 4th--I am late posting--just so nice to be home here--back from the eye doctor, in Sudbury----She did work on my left eye--not the rt. one at a time I guess!-- She  froze it--then jabbed it--I did not feel it--  guess the freezing did it's job--I had a very good driver----no snow--lots of fog and rain--but-- that was ok--He is a good driver!
I am late posting----but , I am posting--  Have to tell you all about my trip  away-I did not return home till late afternoon---  and, thanks to son#3, Lopez was fine also--
So, how are you all, after that huge election in the US?--What a relief  eh?----- I do not like to get into politics, but, it really is a huge relief to have normal people now in the US gov't --for Canada--We never ever had anyone like that before, in our neighbouring country-Enough said!
Words I wish I had thought of--
#1. Find more time for yourself.
#2. If you try to please everyone, nothing gets done.
#3. The world likes a happy person.
#4.You can't know everything.
#5.There are no free lunches.

                                Blasts from the past----
                             Below--Happy Grandchildren

Above--  a dock full of "Youngs"--How many are there?
                                            I count 11--How many?
                                    above--Fred with Ava

                                Above--Charlee either  her dolls--
                      Below----on my sofa----oh no!!

                            They caught a fish--I think!--below

And Sophia--  now at Kent State--
Time to get on with this day isn't it?--  Are you happy?--Never ever think that you are not good enough--Remember, if you enjoy old age, then you have won the game!--Don't say "I can", say  -"I will"--Find some good in everything--Hug your children--  and talk to them--and to your pets--and enjoy to-day--  To-day only comes once-- Remember that "you" are strong--oh--and --"big hugs go you all"---

  1. Good morning from Ohio! It is raining, yay!!! I am over mowers and blowers every single day! Yes, we have trees but my neighbors must be terrified of leaves. They get them up every single day and they have huge, loud equipment for small yards. I don’t get it! Anyways, thought of you all day yesterday! So happy that is done and you said it all went well! Perfect! You rest today! Big hugs!

  2. Good morning Lynda, I was genuinely surprised to see a post from you because I thought that after your eye treatment you wouldn't be able to see properly. I am happy to hear that the treatment is over, and that you didn't feel anything when you received the shot in the eye. You sound very upbeat, probably because you are relieved that the procedure is over. Yes, I was very, very pleased with the election results, and I'll leave it at that. Have a great day. You are a very special woman.

  3. Good morning Lynda, it's Kathy. I'm so happy to hear that you had a good drive, no snow, and that your eye procedure went well. Whew! A relief to have that over - now just one more eye to go. Yes, I am very glad the election is over because the ads were getting really bad - and I watch very little live TV. But I am disappointed because I'm not happy with the results in my state. The people have spoken and short of moving, there's nothing more I can do. I hope you have a great day today - it's still gloomy here but at least no rain right now.

  4. Good afternoon, sis! I am very late here, too, but I did check to see if there was a new blog before I left to get my toe nails done. The Senior Center has nurses come a couple times a month. They do the whole spa treatment...except they don't put polish on.

Love that your appointment in Sudbury...and the trip back and forth...turned out well. Also happy to know that the shots don't hurt. I have my appointment next week.

Honey, last night you thought I wrote 'talk to your pants.' I DID NOT!!! I wrote, 'talk to your pLants, too.' It helps them grow. I laughed.

Ok, sis, more to do here, but I will come back to check things out here, as always. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

The election for governor turned out just the way I wanted it! I voted for the one who supports unions, veterans, people of any color, orientation or religion. She is wonderful.

Oh, and it was only a 'mid-term' election...not for president. We did however manage to win the senate with our kind of people!

  5. Hi Lynda! Yes, I am VERY happy with the Ohio results! Dr. Amy Acton, who came to my former condo community in Columbus (and I got her signature), won for governor. She was VERY VERY good with all the COVID stuff, and kept us safe and secure. Even my ex bf, who went to the gathering where she was, and is a Libertarian, voted for her! And the senator I wanted to win did, also! I'm amazed and so happy! Now we just have to hang on another frickin' 2 years to get tRUMP out of there. LOL LOL
