Another day, another dollar-

Good morning--Dark outside--Maybe , get dressed--get your clothes on, and it won't be so cold--LOL----(just teasing)--but, it sure is dark out there,  right now.--Son#2 just called--said the same thing-- "It is dark outside!"----dark inside too--Lopez and I are up tho--hard to put those feet on the floor, when it feels like winter--(well sorta-)

So, to-day is October the 22nd--20 degrees out there, I hear--(the TV just said that)----The wash is done--must go into the dryer--A new day has just begun--

Words I wish I had written--

#1. A sleeping cat cannot catch a mouse.

#2.Life can be so complicated and busy that sometimes

    we forget to live.

#3.You control yourself

#4.Imagine what you'd attempt to do if you knew you couldn't fail,             then do it.

                            and, Blasts from the past

                                                Hey--It is me---

                            Looks like a cockpit--It is!!!

                                and Lopez-on his leather chair--

and the dock--where we spent so much of our time--

                        Maybe they see a turtle--(cousins)-
Days on "the dock"--always lotza dogs-and Grandkids--

So---another day has begun-- and here we are---Think of ways to improve your life--Remember that you cannot have everything--Where would you put it?- Tell your children that you love them to the moon and back-_walk those pets--and wrap your arms around them also--They live for you-

-The only things left after you die are the good deeds that you performed--and, of course, big hugs to you all--Remember that--YOU CAN!

  1. Good Thursday Morning!
Almost to the weekend and it's going to be another sunny and comfortable temperature day. Right now, it's a little foggy though.

Today I just need to get a workout in and get my bathrooms cleaned. Not thrilling, but it needs to be done.

I love all the pictures as always. You have a lovely family and the grandkids all seem so close.

Wishing you a wonderful day, Lynda!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  2. Good morning, Lynda! It’s 43 with a dense fog advisory in Ohio. Your docks were always happy docks with all the dogs and family. Sweet memories. What are your plans for today? I hope you get some rest and that you are feeling good again. I am enjoying my coffee and will get busy. Big hugs!

  5. Yikes! Your saying about being so busy that we forget to live is so true! I cut grass for 3 1/2 hours yesterday and am tired today, but still have so many other chores to do today. I am loving the mild temperatures and sunny days and it motivates me to get things done! I am finally cleaning out my husband's "extra garage" that he had built! It is filled with stuff! And I hate opening boxes and finding SPIDERS! Today is trash day so I hope to drag more stuff out to be picked up! Maybe if the weather gets colder next week, I can rest and relax a little! And on another note, I am going to go with my son and his family to Helsinki and Tallinn and Riga next month! Thanks to everyone who told me to just do it! I needed to hear those encouraging words!

    1. Sandra, so pleased to hear you decided to accept your son's invitation. You won't regret it. It will be a memory maker with those you love.

  6. Good morning Lynda, today's your hair day. I know you look forward to getting it done and that you like your hairdresser. Great photos as always. We had rain yesterday, and there will be more again today, and we need it. Today is the day I do my grocery shopping. I'll check the weather before I go, of course. Enjoy your day as it unfolds.

  7. Good morning, sis!

It's brignt and blue here with a temp of 51F. It will get a bit warmer later.

Did you read my second comment about Lucky yesterday? For the first time he had a reaction to the vaccinations that I was able to notice...lethargy, not eating then in the wee hours eating too much and throwing up. He didn't follow me at night to the bathroom when (getting ready for bed) I take the back scratcher and groom him (he loves it). He just laid out in the living room not moving. Now I've got a big batch of puke to clean up.

Sigh. Life with pets can be challenging, but I couldn't do without a pet!

Love the blasts as always. Looks like you're loading up a plate of dinner for someone. Love to see your living space...and the dock! I do see dogs and kids.

You didn't say what you are going to be up to today, but I hope your day will be just as you want it. I can get something done today, too, now that I'm not thinking about Lucky and getting him in the carrier and to the vet.

I'll be back to check things later, Lynda. Be happy! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
