I must tell you that I attended a "Grief Session" at a Lodge, north of here--and the whole day was amazing-- about 50 women attended-- We stayed for lunch--had a yoga session--went on a memory walk thru the forest--and returned back to "Elliot Lake" after 4pm--Tim had come to take Lopez out in town here--and, yes, that day really helped me to relax and get on with my day -live without a partner-to slow down--and carry on-----alone--- with my new life -in my tiny home -
So-Words I wish I had written----
#1.Do not be a mouse or the cat will eat you.
#2.Life is 10 pet cent what happens to you and 90 per cent how you react to it.
#3.Fear plays a big part in our lives.
#4.Don't do anything that conflicts with common sense.
Blasts from the Past--
6 Grandchildren having tea in the garden--long ago--above Ava-Andie--with Emma-cousins- Above----and-there they are--again! and again-- with Jacob and Sophia--their cousinsand here are their parents--many moons ago -Son#2 holding Timmy
Life passes so quickly--grab each day and live it, to it's fullest--Your children are your best life--Tell them you love them to the moon and back---Remember your pets---walk them--talk to them---make their day special---Love snd work are two of the most important ingredients of a happy life.-- Oh-and big huge hugs to you all!

Good Morning!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a nice day yesterday, connecting with others and doing relaxing and enjoyable activities. Yoga and a nature walk sounds lovely.
Hubby and I traveled to my Mom's for the day yesterday. She lives in Bellefontaine Ohio, which is a 2 hour to 2 1/2 hour trip depending on traffic, one way. My brother and his spouse, joined us too. My sister was supposed to come, but she was called into work unexpectedly. She is an RN.
We had a nice lunch and visit together. But, that 4 1/2 -5 hour round trip, wears me out. Way too much sitting. But, it was nice to see my family.
Loved your words or wisdom today. There were some good ones there.
Your family pictures were awesome as always. Lopez looks like he has claimed that chair for sure. The one of your children as children is a good one too. They were all good!
Have a sunny Sunday Lynda!
Hugs,
Jackie

DeleteGood morning Lynda, I hope joining the Grief Group and the subsequent walk, felt healing to you. Maybe the yoga helped you to relax. That's a beautiful photo of the sunrise from your backyard. Will you be having breakfast with Dave today? I do hope you have an enjoyable day.

DeleteGood morning, sis!
ReplyDeleteThe blasts are wonderful! Love those kids. The older photo is great, too. Timmy still a babe in arms.
it's supposed to rain, a bit this morning and for the next 3 or 4 days. I really need to get my garbage and recyclables out to the bins. I am picking up a walmart order in a couple hours, too. That way I can stay in during the rain.
Love the words...yes, life is how we react to the contrast (the part of things we don't want), and to counter fear we need to trust...trust that if we follow our guidance (trust out intuition to guide us), all will turn out fine.
I'd better get going...at least I'm dressed already, no longer just typing this in my robe! ;-) I'll be back to check comments later as always. I may even add some words. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Yrs Maggie--Do add some words-- I wud love that--And I saw that yu were dressed--LOLOL--anyway--Hugs to yu--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I'm glad you enjoyed the day with the grief group. Sounds like a really great day that helped you find some peace. Love the picture of little Lopez. My Daisy is usually sleeping in the bathroom when I shut down my computer and go into the bedroom to put on my pj's. She will get up and get into MY chair before I come out. She does this every night. If I sit in the other chair, she will shortly leave my chair and lay on the fireplace - her way of saying she's ready to settle in for the evening. Dogs have their own way of things, that's for sure! Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteKathy--Yes -Dogs have their own way--LOLOL--so cute that she steals your chair--That is what Lopez does--Hope yer day went well--Lynda

DeleteHappy Sunday, Lynda! It is sunny and 68 in Ohio. A beautiful day. My son and his family are coming tomorrow. We will get to see our grands. They come once a month as they live a couple hours away and work a lot. We are super excited and always plan fun things. Your day at the Lodge sounds like it was a much needed day with other women to connect with. How nice! Sweet Lopez in your/his chair. LOL. He is pateintly waiting for his leash to get off. My yorkies always wait inside the door to get theirs off. Hope your day is going great! Big hugs!
ReplyDeleteYes I take off his leash as he just might get it stuck somewhere--Tim was so good to walk him yesterday when I was up at that Lodge--Enjoy your Grandchildren--They will always remember you--I still remember my Mom and Dad a lot--miss them--Lynda
