Good morning, sis. We are both pretty early today.
ReplyDeleteI am going to read that 'I think of you' meme if I get a chance to speak to everyone at her services Tuesday. It's beautiful.
And the photos! Himself singing? Looks like he really was! And all four grown sons together...wonderful! Of course, I enjoy any photos of you.
It's nice here, too. Kinda overcast but not too hot. I'll be able to use the laundry room without sweltering. (It's not air conditioned so people open the windows).
Maybe I'll go to karaoke tonight. I have lots of chores to do so I don't know if I'll wear myself out. If my friend, Donna, goes, I will, too. It's her birthday today, and I can ask the group to sing to her.
My birthday is on the first. You will be moved by then, and I know you can hardly wait. You're on the way to another adventure.
I'll be back checking later, dear. Have a marvelous day! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Your birthday is on the first?-Ever nice!! --Happy Birthday early!--Yes I "thought of you to-day"--was beautiful--and might help others who have "lost" a loved one--Too bad we can't live forever eh?----- and yes, sing your heart out at Karaoke--You deserve to do that!-- Hugs---Enjoy the day--- Hugs, Lynda
DeleteGood Morning!

DeleteHi Lynda
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post today. Thank you.
I loved the picture of Fred singing and being happy.
Have an amazing day.
You are beautiful inside and out.

It's Kathy. I'm glad you are having a nice day there in Canada. We had rain overnight which is okay - saves me from watering! Too wet to get out and do more weeding so I'll wait until this afternoon when the shade comes. Love the photos of himself, of your handsome boys, and you with your son and his wife. It's always fun to see photos from our lives lived! And the meme that begins "I thought of you today" makes me think of the loved ones, especially my dad, who have left us. I still miss him so much! I hope today is a really good day for you! Daisy and I are alone today so I get to do whatever I want all day long!!!
ReplyDeleteHi! Love the pics. It's too bad other peop[e cannot post photos here. My couch came early this morning, before they even said, and I'm a happy camper. I'd love to share a pic, and the dog on it already (I put an old towel down), but can't. He's as happy as a clam! Like there'd always been a couch there, LOL. I wish I could be more like a dog. They just accept everything, they don't look back, they don't look ahead, they never worry, and they just live in the moment!
ReplyDeleteMarti
I don’t think you ever stop missing those you love and lose, but the good memories make it a little less painful.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the photos from the past. Everyone looks so happy. That makes me smile.
Sooooooo close to getting back home! HUGS and blessings!
