It Doesn't Get Easier, You Get Stronger!

and the above is SO so right---

Yesterday was fabulous---  My cousin and her sister and her sister's family drove  to Lakefield to see me --have lunch with me--and then we all drove to son#2's Lake House. -It was a very hot day, so we all enjoyed the cool breezes from the lake , while sitting on his deck--

Here we all are on the deck--

A little over 2 weeks and I can move to Elliot Lake--I never thought that I could make the wait-- BUT I HAVE! ---  (without going completely crazy!)--It sure has been a VERY VERY long wait!!--so, we leave here on the 24th-- The movers will be here after the move!--I must remain sane , until this is over--Lordy Be!!!!  ----------  Below, is Lola (remember her?--Son#3's Chihuahua-)-with Lopez----

----

and, of course, a "blast from the past"---    Himself in the back, I guess picking up Emma from dance--with Julie her Mom, beside Emma-- Emma is now in her 2nd yr of University--  How time flies eh??-- And look how proud my Himself is? He absolutely adored each Grandchild!--

I have been packing---  wrapping --- and discontinuing stuff--to reorder it up in Elliot--This afternoon I hope to wrap some pictures.  The picture below is me---well, not really, but it could be--

I had to post my favourite cartoon-- ever--It reminds me of the waiting room at a Drs office--- and what every Dr wishes how a nurse might clear out the waiting room.

So be strong--Never give up!-------WE CAN do whatever we make our minds to do---

There are days that we would all enjoy living in a "fantasy World"--where everything does make perfect sense!  (As if that ever happens eh?)---

No matter what comes your way to-day, try to remain strong---  believe in yourself---There are so many benefits of "age--ing"---- We have been pretty much in every situation , and we know how to handle EVERY THING--don't we???---AND-----even with a smile on our face!
                                                                     just remember

  1. It's Kathy. I love the pictures, and am so glad you got to spend some time with family! That's always the best. Yes, you can see how proud himself is of his children and grandchildren. How wonderful that you were able to spend so many years with him. And how exciting that you have a little more than 2 weeks before you make the trip back to Elliott Lake. Is it close enough to do in a day? Do you have family going with you? I'm so glad the time is almost here! Have a great day.

  2. Good morning, sis.
And what we don't know how to do...our kids tell us!
You are so excited...and busy! Between packing, wrapping, family visits...oh, my. Bet you've been sleeping really well at night. I almost always do.
It's a pretty day, here. A mix of sun and clouds, not overly hot...just nice. Every place has its own beauty. I am sure Canada is lie MN in that there are SO MANY lakes and wonderful trees...that's real beauty. I just love nature...the trees, flowers, animals, bugs...
Thos photos! I just love your blasts from the past. Himself looks really happy with his daughter-in-law and granddaughter. The pups are resting peacefully.
I'm about to do that, too...after lunch is a brief nap with Lucky.
I'll check again later. Let's all here have a great day. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  4. Hi Lynda! It looks like you were having a lovely family day! Good for you! Yes, sweet Lola. Lopez seems to like her which is nice. Only a couple weeks til you are at your happy place. It is mostly cloudy with a little storm this evening in Ohio. Rain for many days with a cold front coming in. We do need rain but I love the sun. How is your day going? Hugs!
