Big Hugs Going Your Way!

Good Morning--late posting---  To-day is Saturday, May 16th--and here we are---another day--another dollar--I have been chatting to Son#2 the Pilot, who is en route to downtown Toronto, to my Fred's sister's Funeral Service --Chinese Funerals usually have huge meals as they celebrate whatever person's death--and of course , the celebration, will be in China Town---I wish I could go--but, Elliot Lake is quite far from Toronto--

So, How are you all??--Are you "happy and you know it"?--  and if you are, clap your hands--It feels quite cool here --sun sorta out--kinda looking like rain--

I want to tell you so much--Perhaps we should begin with "Words I wish I had thought of"----like-

-#1.Eat less, live longer

#2.Lift yourself up by your own bootstraps

#3.Look up, not down

#4.Think of retirement as being a teenager again

#5, Just think--"Every minute of everyday, the sun is shining somewhere".

                and--"Blasts from the past"----below--

-Look at them laughing--It makes me smile! What on earth are they looking at??--Julie is sharing something--

                        Cousins--Jacob and Ethan--below

Below is Andrew with Charlee
our home which was on the Lake--with tons of snow

That guy who I loved---on the left--  with Allison's 2 children--out at a                         Lodge , north of where we lived--"Laurentian Lodge"

Charlee, Emma, Andie, and Sophia-Happy Children

                                                Guess who?---

Time to get on with this day--Remember, if you don't toot your own horn, no-one else will do it for you!--Right?--

--and, let your children go, if you want to keep them--Be friends with your family--and get out of the house everyday-

-So much to learn in life isn't there?(you know, your eyes are the windows of your soul!-)---Remember to be happy and to not  look back-

-                    See y'all to-morrow--  Now--Get off of here!-                                                    -Big hugs going your way!

  1. Good Morning Lynda,
Sorry to hear of your sister in law's passing. It's a shame you are too far away to attend the service. But Son#2 will be there on your behalf.
It's rainy and cool here today. Rain will be off and on all day so probably going to be an inside day, other than a quick trip to the store.

I enjoyed all the pictures. That lodge looks like a nice place.

Have a good day, whatever you do!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  4. Sorry for the loss of Fred's sister. It's that time of life for us, isn't it... letting go and keeping on!

Amen to all those observations of life, my friend!

This morning Ember and I went off to the park to parallel leash walk with an old work friend of mine and her dog, Zoe. We did this a week ago and we've found the doggos get along with one another and a leash walk with sniff time allowed is fine for human conversation as well. Life's good!

Keep on smiling... love those candid photos catching your loved ones smiling, too!

  5. It's Marti. It thundered and rained this morning, and I went back to bed, did not feel well. Later on, it was sunny and I decided to go get a jump on Memorial Day weekend and all the people buying plants and went to Home Depot to buy my potted plants. They always look so pretty when I get them and then I seem to somehow manage to keep them barely alive all summer, LOL.
