-We can now chant, --"Spring has Sprung, the grass has riz--I wonder where the boidies iz-?---The Boid iz on the wing--But thats absoid--I thought the wing waz on the Boid!"--
I am having breakfast with my friend , Dave , this morning, so I must keep moving here--get the washing in--and get Lopez out and around the block, before I go-To-day, I hope you do not take life (or death) too seriously--make decisions based on the whole picture--Be patient---Patience can wait for anything! --Trust your instincts--
Words I wish I had written
#1.Find joy in what you have
#2.Keep life simple
#3.Stick to your guns

Blasts from the past--
So--another day---another dollar--I hope your day will be special-- Make it that way if you can--Remember-It's no good running if you are on the wrong road----When you talk to someone, figure out_whether she wants to listen or talk more--and, think to-day-and speak to-morrow---Remember--all our dreams can come true--if we can have the courage to pursue them-
Good morning! It is 75 in Ohio. I am happy that Spring has finally sprung for you and you have hummingbirds again. I have laundry to do, also. Enjoy your breakfast with Dave. I shall finish my coffee and get things done. I may go for a protein iced coffee in the early afternoon. Such cute pics. Have a beautiful day. It’s our fave. Hugs and ice cream!

DeleteYes, the warm weather is very nice! Yay! Looking forward to our ice cream! Sophia will do great in the writing contest. I think she did one last year, too. Enjoy your hummingbirds.
DeleteGlad you finally are having some warmer spring weather! It is supposed to be in the high 80's here today. That means it will probably be humid...as we had a mostly rainy day yesterday. Need to mow, but will be too wet. Two of my grandkids came over Friday and helped me with some yard work! Was wonderful to have help! I go from being "overwhelmed" with the upkeep at this house to being "overjoyed" at how beautiful is is when the work is done. (Actually, the work is never done hahahaha! - Just like housework....we get it done and then have to do clean again!). But I am not complaining as I know that I am enjoying good health because I keep moving and doing everything that I can, and of course, I am keeping up with my yoga classes too! I'm off to change the sheets on my king bed - ugh! But will enjoy those fresh sheets tonight!
ReplyDeleteSandra--Yu got to change that King bed--I was supposed to but--instead went out for breakfast--so--=to-morrow it must be changed--LOL--nice to have the children help yu with thne grounds-- It helps to have help--Lynfa
DeleteSo so nice and warm here today--I do love it!!-- Spring is so nice!--Lynda

Enjoy your Sunday breakfast with Dave. And enjoy that sunshine you have there today!
Hugs,
Jackie

DeleteGood morning, sis!
ReplyDeleteHeavens, I checked most every day, sometimes two or three times to see if you were back blogging. How I missed you! I'm surprised I didn't see you right away. That might be because of my fall.
It was 230 AM Thursday morning. I got up cuz Lucky insisted. I sat on the edge of the bed for a minute, put one hand on the night stand and the other on the door frame, got up, walked 3 steps to get to the bathroom, just inside that room...I CRASHED HARD! My head was wedged between the open door and the vanity. I could not even lift my head. I was able to get my reacher. I banged that and hollered for help until after 4 when my next door neighbor, Terry, finally heart me. Paramedics were called. They got me up bandaged my wrist which was cut with a skin slice there. I told The I did not want to go to the hospital.
So now I am walking everywhere with my cane, taking more pain drugs, etc. My left knee was bent back as far as a knee could go and it is swollen to a size way bigger than the other one.
BUT you enjoyed your trip. Think of it as a mini vacation. I read all your blogs since you've returned. You have such an amazing, close, loving family. So happy about that. The blasts are amazing.
Your wise words are great. I have mini signs in my bathroom from a friend from work years ago (we had a drawing to give one of our co-workers a Christmas gift) that say Remember Yesterday, Live Today and Dream Tomorrow.
The weather here has been great. Day before yesterday it was 91F! Today it is due to be 'only' 70F!
Ok, Lynda, I'd better get doing stuff not on this computer ;--) I will be back this evening to see if you've added any replies. Please enjoy your day and, as you said, balance things you 'have' to do with other stuff...fun and relaxation. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Good morning Lynda, your routine, since returning from Lakefield, is in full swing, with you and Dave having breakfast and conversation. Have you hung any hummingbird feeders outside yet? I hope your day is enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteMaureen from California
