Of course, the wash machine was chugging away this morning, and now the dryer is spinning--Lopez and I are down here and it seems fairly cool outside--and sorta in here also--

ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a nice day in the Cincinnati metro area. Sunny and it might make it 70. They are calling for temperatures in the 80's next week. Summer is on the way, I think.
I have a hair cut and color appointment and then a facial appointment after that today. It's a pamper myself day :-)

DeleteIt's Kathy. We woke up to some really warm weather. It's going to be in the 80's today. Too warm for May but better than the 40's! Daisy and I will go out shortly to get more weeds out of the garden - I want to plant grass seed. No more gardening for me. I just don't have the energy to take care of a big garden any longer! DeleteMarti from Ohio. Yep, Central Ohio is ready to bring on the heat, I believe. God always just turns on the heat in late May, usually the last week of May, and then jumps right into the high 80's and 90's. I recall when I used to have a house and was getting ready to invite friends over for Memorial Day weekend and I'd be out there slogging away trying to paint the deck and whatnot and dripping sweat. We have high humidity in the summer and I hate it! But yeah, it's coming, 91 on Monday!
ReplyDeleteI have a 3 day weekend ahead, and glad of it! By then, though, I'm typically ready to go back to work - only so much alone time I can take, really, before I crave seeing some people, even if they are my coworkers that I don't really like so much, some of them, anyway.

DeleteI'm smiling at that "you won the game if your children still like you when they get older." That is very close to a snippet of conversation from our Mother's Day outing. My son and his wife had both her parents and his mom, and their foster son... all together, nobody fighting with one another... yep, that's winning!
