-Well, I'll tell you ----I AM TRYING TO PLANT BUSHES ETC IN THE BACK YARD_-- GIL HAS BEEN BUILDING A HUGE PLANTER ACROSS THE BACK----nothing in it yet--eventually there will be--but--You see we had frost last night--so, anything planted would've been hit with the frost and not survived----- So, (FINALLY!) I can tell you why no early blog this AM--more reasons-- LOL
Gil and I were at the local nursery--to get soil to fill up the planters----(No soil there, yet either)--- Guess I am just too early for this area--(sob sob!!!)--- a real challenge--
But-- I miss you all--so. here I sit blogging so I can see what is going on in your part of the world--????---Did you know that Son#2 is back in Brazil-- eating away there and he sent pictures for you all--It does look good -----

Good morning Lynda, I was so happy to see that you had blogged today. I checked several times yesterday and again early this morning. Sorry about your frost last night. Perhaps check a weather forecast for your area on the computer. Don't plant anything until you see an entire week of good weather. Plants can be expensive, and it would be a shame to lose everything because the weather was too cold. I like the look of Matt's meals, but especially his dinner. I hope your day goes well.

Our weather has been all over the place too. One day it's 80, the next it's barely 40. Love all the memories too! My husband and I both have colds, it's not fun! Have a good rest of your day.

DeleteHi Lynda
ReplyDeleteWe miss you if you don't blog. You sound very busy with the giant planter but I'm afraid its still too cool up there. Nurseries here are starting to have sales as a lot of plants, bushes and trees were sold before Mother's day. I hope you aren't planning anything too elaborate that will need a lot of care as you do plan to move in a few years. Enjoy your new garden. It will get done.
Take care
Marge in St.Louis
No planting in that new garden yet--We had frost last night-=-Gil still has a lot of work to finish it--Lynda
Deleteand I have Hummingbirds here-- love them!!--Lynda

DeleteGood afternoon, sis. This time when I checked there was a blog!
ReplyDeleteIn the midst of chores now, but I needed a break. That's what you are today...my break (besides my friend).
Love the blasts and your wonderful, attractive close-knit family! And the German with Fred especially.
You will enjoy getting your plants planted and hummingbirds!
We have another inspection coming up...on my eldest son's birthday...the 28th.
Upcoming in the US is our Memorial Day weekend. Banks, doctors and most stores will be closed. Everyone and their uncle will be barbequing, etc.
Ok, dear, enough time has passed. I'd better get back to it.
Yes, I was looking for yu--hoping yu were OK and did not fall again!-- That place yu live in should not do so many inspections- You have to live there--and it cannot always look the best--So I am your break?--I'll take that!=-=-LOLOL--So much yard work to do now but I guess it will get done--so happy to see the snow all gone-Lynda
Deleteabsolutely love Spring-- the best season-- Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda! It’s sunny and 65 in Ohio with a nice breeze! Glad to see you today. It sounds like you have good planting plans when you get the dirt. I have two tomato plants going on in pots. My first ever. I shall see how this goes. I planted shrubs and flowers like I do every Spring. Have a great evening! Hugs!
