Good morning, Lynda! Good for you going out to breakfast with Dave. I am just drinking coffee before I turn into a Sadie and get laundry going. It is our favorite day. Let’s make it a good one. It is high 72 and sunny in Ohio. Perfect! Big hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteYes Lets make it a great day--So good to hear from yu-- Lynda

DeleteGood Morning!
ReplyDeleteBoy, your graphic today couldn't be more on point! And that's sad.
Ah, breakfast with Dave. That's so nice you get together.
Busy day here for me. I have laundry, workout and dinner to get together day. Ah well, it keeps me moving.
And it's sunny and warm here and supposed to be until the weekend.
Enjoy your day!
Hugs,
Jackie
Jackie warm here also--=Ya gotta love summer eh?--Lynda
DeleteGood morning, sis. It's cloudy here, rain on and off, and cooler. The high will only be in the mid 70s.
ReplyDeleteThe blasts are wonderful. As you say, smiling faces. And the lakes are beautiful. In the one photo, it seems several of the kids are getting ready to jump in the water. Fred doesn't even have a cane in the photo with his son.
You will enjoy your breakfast with Dave. In fact, you are probably with him as I am typing this.
I did go to karaoke last night but only sang two songs. Got up on the stage for one of them. It was so tricky getting back down, I decided not to do that again.
My new air conditioner for the bedroom was delivered. Now I have to prepare the bedroom by moving the stacking drawers by the window. I will have to consolidate other stuff to find a place for them. I am over waking up so sweaty. The air conditioner that comes with the apartment is in the living room and doesn't reach to the bedroom.
I will get offa here now and eat breakfast. I always come back in the evening to check replies and see what's up. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Yes Fred didn't user his cane much--And lotza smiling faces when the kids see a camera-- Yu sound happy-- chipper!--must be the kareoke-- LOL
Deleteor is it the warm weather?--= Yu got to love summer! Lynda
DeleteGood morning Lynda, going out to have brunch with Dave is a great way to begin your Sunday. The laundry can wait. Sorry about the blackflies. I hope there aren't as many to deal with as those you had when you lived at the lake in the big house. I hope Gil's wife has recovered so that he can return to your house and get the tree roots covered and the yard ready for planting. Enjoy the remainder of your day. Who is the lady standing next to you when the family is gathered in the kitchen for Christmas?
ReplyDeleteMaureen from California
Oh Maureen yu are so good to see Aniko--She lived across the street and het husband had passed just before Xmas so I had invited her over.---I never realized what she was going thru till I found myserlf going thru the same--Lynda

DeleteIt's Kathy. I absolutely agree with the first meme! I want the world to make sense once more. This world we are living in is not the world we grew up with! I wonder if my grandparents felt the same way being born in the later 1800's and very early 1900's. All the new inventions they must have seen! My grandfather was a photographer for the Minneapolis newspaper - I found some of his photos years ago and what he must have seen! Love your 5 suggestions - especially #5. Enjoy your breakfast with Dave. Tom and I are staying close to home today, that makes little Daisy happy!
ReplyDeleteSo Kathy--Daisy must
Delete've appreciated you staying with her--Sorry it took so long to get to your comments---I enjoyed reading about your Grandfather working for the paper--must"ve been an interesting job--Lynda
