Where there's a will, there's a way!

Good morning--To-day is Thursday, May 7th--and I am up--packed-- everything but the kitchen sink--LOL----sitting in the front hall ready  to go--Poor Sushi is upstairs--going to stay here with the cleaning Lady--kinda wondering what the heck is going on--

We have sunshine--cool temperatures--Tim, Son #4 is driving me as far as Sudbury-- and then Son#2 the Pilot, will meet us there and take me to Lake Field--  This whole trip is a trial run-- to visit a place I can live in after I become "older than old"----not now--I really love my little house here in Elliot, but-- not too many years from now, my poor old body will appreciate living in a place with more care--

So how are you all??--Yes, "Believe you can"----=because "You can" -We CAN DO almost everything if we believe we can!--There is always a way--

Words I wish I had written

#1  Break the habit of wasting time--

                            #2.Free yourself from anxiety--

                            #3.Separate yourself from the mob

                            #4.Beat failure with courage

                                    Blasts from the Past--

Below--  the lake itself and houses along Elliot Lake--a beautiful area

                     Below----at Son#2's wedding--all of us!!

at Son#2's wedding-Allison--far left, Angie , Fred and I
above-- Fred, the Queen, and I-in our kitchen!
So---Y'all best get on with yer day--Try to be happy--Remember, There is always a way-Go with yer gut feelings which are usually right--Mom used to say, "Where there is a will, there is a way"-

  2. Good Morning!
Sounds like you are ready to go! Have a safe trip there and I hope it's everything you expect it to be. I don't remember how many days you said you will be staying. I guess we won't be hearing from you for a few days then. You will be missed but we understand.
I hope it's a good fit for you and Lopez and of course, Sushi too.

    Best wishes for your adventure!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  5. It's Kathy. Enjoy your visit. It looked like a really nice place - I hope it turns out to be really great. We finally have a sunny day and it's warming up nicely. I hope to get outside this afternoon and work in the yard. There is so much to be done! Hope all goes well today.

    to me

    Good morning, sis.

It's a beautiful day here, sunny, blue skies, too. BUT it's COLD. Not much above freezing.

Love the blasts...you as a little girl, that beautiful lake and the group photo at the wedding!

We can always find something to think about that makes us happy.
Time is not wasted...it is used. Even if it's you're relaxing and doing something you enjoy...or just breathing.

I hope your trip goes smoothly, I hope you like the place, too. We have several of them here in Faribault. I may need one sooner or later, too.

I'l check this evening to see if you've added something or made any replies. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

Hugs, Lynda, thank you for sharing your rays of sunshine with us!
What a great group of people, your family.
I bet it will be hard for you to let others do things for you, since you’re so used to doing them for yourself. I like to think I could easily let others feed me and do my laundry and housekeeping - only time will tell. Looking forward to your report(s) on the place!
