  1. Good Morning Lynda,
Ah! Breakfast with Dave. That's so nice you two get together often. Too bad the store you wanted to go isn't open on Sunday.
We met up with friends last night at an Irish pub and restaurant. Dinner was good and we got to catch up with them. They especially enjoy the Irish beer. lol
Going to get my laundry done, get a workout in and get dinner. It's going to be a on and off rain day today. Also, need to get stuff together to take for our trip to visit my Mom tomorrow.
As always, love seeing your pictures.

    Hugs,
    Jackie

  2. Good morning Lynda, by the time you read this you will have already had your breakfast with Dave. A great way to start the morning, good food and conversation. Sorry about the store being closed, you'll have to go on another day. Perhaps the rain won't last all day, but it's probably not a good day to go out into the backyard as it will be wet. However your day unfolds, enjoy.

  3. Good morning, sis! A great surprise for me...seeing this blog.

It is Memorial Day weekend here in the US. A day to remember those who gave their lives in the world wars (both, I believe). Veterans' Day is in the fall. That's to remember those of us that made it through.

    Brunch with Dave...what fun!

The stores here are mostly open on Sundays, but tomorrow they will not be due to the holiday. Maybe Walmart and Walgreens will have short hours. They need to feed their families more than most, I guess.

I did so much for others yesterday that I am determined today will be for me. Maybe a load of laundry, lots of games on my computer and I will be getting a couple of Amazon orders.

Your blasts are wonderful...having a large, loving family is great.

I am still hobbling around with my cane (and walker if I have to carry stuff), but am healing from my fall.

Oh! My ex-husband used to say, "Another day, another fifty cents."

I'll go see if anyone is in the laundry room and come back here later. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  4. Good morning. Happy Sunday. I have a full household. Full of two big black dogs. The Prisoner is hiding in his luxury suite safe from both of them. The dogs are being very good, but they certainly give me busy refilling water bowls. Today it's going to get quite warm so I expect to be doing even more than usual.

Like you, keeping on keeping on! Stay safe and welcome to the start of summer.

  5. It's Kathy. My dad always said to me "In 100 years, Kath, none of this will matter." I remember those words when things are difficult. So far he was 100% right. We are having a string of very nice, very sunny days in Minnesota. I want to get outside again and get more yard work done. We have a very large patch that we tilled up to plant a garden years ago - I'm too tired to take care of it now. So I'm putting it back to grass! With my multiple surgeries in the last 5 years I haven't been able to take care of our yard and my dear husband mows but he doesn't really care what the yard looks like! He has other strengths! I hope you have a great breakfast and a good day! Oh, that's a nice picture of you with Fred's niece.

I am so glad that you get to have brunch with Dave that has to be so fun I get it that some places are closed on Sunday I wish app places would close 1 day per week for families to have time to spend together
a bench in the front of your place would look so cute and you could sit out side and enjoy the sun.
you and Fred's niece look so happy what a great photo

  7. Hi Lynda! It is chilly and cloudy in Ohio with rain this evening. Love the Ava birthday pic. My Ava comes tomorrow for a cookout along with her sister Gracie and brother Cooper. It will be a great day! I only see them once a month. They live a couple hours away and have work and sports. Hope you are having a great day! We love Sundays! Big hugs!
