  4. Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. A beautiful day here also but we are expecting some rain later this evening. I'm off shortly to my Pilates Reformer class - it's my favorite in the week. I had to remind Daisy to take care of her business this morning - she just wanted the treat she gets when she comes in. I always love seeing your photos! Have a great day.

  5. Good morning, sis! It's a beautiful day here, too.

The photos are great. Sure wish I could see Charlee dance!

Nothing new here, but I can tell you about the inspections. Our building was built way back in the 80s. It is inspected regularly for safety...to be sure everything still works. Also to be sure the residents don't have piles of paper, etc. or things on the stove that shouldn't be there...because of fire hazards. They say they are not judging our housekeeping, but I was in the Army. To me, an inspection means everything must be 'ship shape.' (Hey, Mag, that's a Navy expression!)

Hopefully, I'll get the air conditioner installed in my bedroom today.

I hope your day is fantastic, too. Get something accomplished AND get some leisure and rest. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  8. Hi, Lynda! I don't even now what lychees are, LOL.

Tomorrow is my birthday, FYI, I will be 68! Getting up there! I have been wearing my new shoes, and brace that were specially made/ordered for me, with special orthotics and everything, but there are some problems with some pain - always the issue. I've been wearing a walking boot on my bad foot for at least 2 years b/c it was too painful to wear shoes. So I'm going through that mess all over again! My shoes were disintegrating, so it was/is time for new ones.

The good news is, for my bday my favorite coworker is coming back to work after almost a year taking care of his mother in another state. I have such a crush on him, he is the nicest human being on the planet, so charming, kind, and thoughtful, always upbeat, around my age, but he's taken, and so I just got to hug him today. He popped into the new office to get the lay of the land. Best bday present I could ever have, LOL. He thinks Monday (or Friday) he might be able to start - he had to apply all over again.

Hope your day has been great and you are having fun planting - planting is always fun, it's the taking care of, and watering, that is no fun, for me. If I don't go out enough, everything withers, if I water too much, everything withers! I don't have much of a green thumb.
