Be kind to People!

Good morning--It looks like a dark day out there--with rain in the forecast-- Lopez and I have not been out yet-- It seems to be getting darker and darker--so--me thinks rain is  coming--like soon--!

So--Yesterday, my cousin and his wife, came to pick me up, and they drove us to Belmont lake--It took an hour and a half to get there---  way longer trip than I remember-- --When we got there, another  cousin and his wife were there--I should've taken pictures of us all--I don't know why I didn't. Son#2 had Lopez with him as well as his own dog, Gerrard--here they are in Son#2's vehicle--So nice of him to keep Lopez for the day.

So, that is the end of my  visiting  around-- back to business --packing boxes etc--getting ready for the move--

Do something everyday that makes you feel like a kid again--AND----take your friends along--  How long since you have made sand castles on a beach?--Remember how the waves would   wash up and the sand castles would cave in? And we would all yell. "OH NO--oo--oo."

So, are "YOU" happy to-day??--Let go of what you cannot change-------- great advice for sure!

One blast from the past---It is of Himself, on one of our trips to Nova Scotia--I remember that day very well---

We have sunshine---mild weather--no more trips planned to see family members living in the area--I must focus on the move only now--The piano tuner will be here soon to pack the piano for ANOTHER move--- --the poor Piano eh??--I promised it that this will be "the final" move--Pianos do not do well in a move!

Enjoy  to-day
and--Be kind to People!

  1. Good morning, sis.
Yes, I am happy. Got alot done already...getting up at 3 AM. Couldn't seem to fall asleep again after potty.
Gread photos, as always. The one of Himself is perfect.
Happy you had some family time before you moved farther away.
Can you give me your email address again? I thought I added it to my contact info in my phone, but it's not there.
Are you going to sit and play the piano some more before the tuner somes? You will miss it when it's boxed up...even for just a couple weeks.
It's a pretty day here. Light blue sky with no clouds visible from my big window. Possible T storms this afternoon, thoug, and 91F. I will probably turn the A/C on, but it doesn't do anying for the bedroom.
I will again copy this comment and email it to myself in case it doesn't show up later. I did that the other day, but very late (probably after 1030 PM), it wasn't appearing. I may have just once in a great while forgot to click to 'publish' the comment...but NOT this often.
Back later, Lynda. Enjoy your day. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  3. It's Kathy. I'm so glad you had a chance to see your cousins - it sounds like a lovely day! One of my cousins granddaughters is getting married i August but it's almost 500 miles away and I just don't think I can make that trip! Plus, we'd have to stay at least 2 nights and find a place for Daisy - who would miss us so much. I'm really torn about what to do! But I still have a few weeks to think it over. Love the photos. I'm glad Son #2 was able to take Lopez for the day - it seems he didn't mind. We are having another very hot day - I have so much work to do outside but I just don't want to do it! It doesn't look like it will cool off any time soon either! Have a good day.

  4. Morning Lynda,
So nice you were able to meet up with your cousins. And that picture of son#2 and the dogs is the best!
Enjoy your day, even if it's gloomy outside and you have packing to do.

  7. Hi Lynda! Thank you for your blog. It keeps me going every day and that is very kind of you to take the time out for it. It is sunny and 85 in Ohio! It sounds like you had a lovely day visiting with family. How nice of Son #2 to dog sit for you so you could enjoy your outing. I am sure the piano will be well taken care of in the move. Wonderful photo of Himself. You will be in your happy place very soon. How exciting! I hope you are having a wonderful day. Hugs!
