Good morning-- Yes! it IS morning--- things seem to be working here this morning--YEAHHHHH!--- We have the sun coming out--I believe it will be hot again--- but--I am JUST getting up here-- so will add more to this in a bit--- I think it will be another day of packing ---with lotza heat---and probably the AC again! I hope that you are up to all of what this day will bring!
Yesterday , I used the WAZE AP., on my phone---punched in Matt's lake house---and the map popped up on the screen in my car, and away Lopez and I drove, to his house in the country and on the lake--- It was so much cooler there than here in town.
And the most amazing thing happened when I returned home--My Nephew called--said, "Aunt Lynda, I am going to help you oder a new I Mac"----Immediately I thought, "No--Not Now!"--So much going on in my life, I did not feel I could handle any more-- but-----You know, he spent hours helping me order the new updated larger IMac--He really has the patience of JOBE!--(Mom used to say that! )---
So the new, heavy duty computer is ordered and will go to Elliot with me to be set up there. Amazing isn't it??? Again--There is a God in Heaven!
I hope that to-day will be a great day for you all--"If you are happy and you know it, clap your hands!"
I must get Lopez out of his crate--It is at the foot of my bed--- Sushi is running around here somewhere. Remember, -to-day is a one time deal--- You will never do this day again---no matter how hard --and hot--to-day is---So, remember to wear your clothing--- That could be important!
-AND-----I shall check on you all later---- Remember to be strong--- feel strong---and get that smile on yer face---A BRAND NEW DAY --is waiting for you---- and----You are a part of it!--- GET GOING!

ReplyDeleteIt's showering in St.Louis this morning and a tad cooler. It's been incredibly hot and muggy.
You sound perky and positive this morning...love it.
With your map app you can go anywhere. Matt's lake and trees definitely provide cooler temps. Nice place to go to escape.
Sounds like a new computer is coming now vs later. I hope nephew will come to EL to get it all set up in the apartment. You'll be super busy with move in. I do hope you'll see the boys and grands much more often. Im hoping they'll help you more than before.

DeleteIt's Kathy. I'm so glad you were able to order the I Mac. You'll have to let me know how you like it. My husband is almost all Mac and he wants me to do the same. I may have to get an I Phone because it takes forever for him to get my texts, and for me to get his. This doesn't work very well when I'm done and need to be picked up! So be proud of yourself!!! Today we have smoke warnings - I'm not sure what's burning where, they didn't tell us on the news this morning. But it's a cooler day. I need to clean my house, just didn't feel like it yesterday! And if it stays cool, I'll get some gardening done this afternoon. I hope you have a great day!

It's not too hot here yet...73F, and the high is to be just 77F with a mix of sun and clouds.
Rebecca is a wee bit better today. Of course, she's on all kinds of pain relievers and not sleeping well. I know that routine. It will get better.
I have a manometry scheduled at the Veterans' hospital on the 23rd, and on the 22nd if Joanne's wake and funeral. Her brother is a priest and he will do the mass.
I will go to karaoke tonight for sure. I probably won't stay very late, but I gotta sing. If I sing alone with the radion (or whatever) in my apartment, my neighbor hears me. Usually it doesn't bother her, but sometimes it does.

Hi Lynda! It is sunny and nice in Ohio! I went out to the amish farmer’s market, to the meat market and got an iced coffee. Happy to see your blog is working good. I figured when you didn’t respond to my comment yesterday that something was not doing right. Glad you will have a new computer soon. Don’t do too much today. I like using WAZE app. I always check for wrecks before I go anywhere on the app. It shows where the police are as well but don’t care about that. Enjoy your day! Hugs!
