Keep your Chin Up!

"You" are so special---  important  also, in your part of this world!---No-one tells us this, but, look back at all the ways you are making a difference--in your family---in your community---and----  in others lives---your children's lives, your parent's day, your pets life, your Grandparents  daily schedule--

-If you were not here, their lives would not be the same, for sure! They all influence you----guide "you" in many ways--Remember my Dad, always telling me to, "Keep my chin up"-?---What he really was saying to me, was, "that I could do anything as long as I believed I could-

-AND TRIED--the "trying", I knew was important---You see, I used to cry a lot--I remember my Grandfather telling my Mom, "There she goes again "Ila"-who was my Mom!--as the tears rolled out of my eyes, and down my cheeks, -  for different reasons--(I guess I was a cry baby!--LOL)

My cousin and wife will be here shortly, and we are going out for lunch, then going to visit my other cousin's cottage.-Oh-I must show you a picture of my Grandfather Wallace--who I thought was the "best-est" person in the whole wide world! Here he is, holding my oldest brother.
a real "Blast from the past!"----

above here--   3 little girls at a wedding

                                                                Himself, in Hawaii

So, stop hurrying hither tither and yon--Relax-- Carry on--Keep your chin up, and be kind to  people you meet to-day---If you do not quite do everything your little heart desires to-day, did you ever think that you were meant to just calm down and relax----

                                                            So-Trust your hunches---

  1. Good morning, sis.
I was going to call you to explain that comments not posting thing...and how I did it right yesterday, even checked later in the day (it was still there) and how at end of the evening, it was gone! I won't call today, though, as you are busy with family...lucky you.
Here's that comment I posted yesterday. It seems like I have many problems with comments. And I have lost your email address. Here's Tuesday's: Good morning, sis.
When I checked in last night to read any comments, I found mine hadn't posted. I did it then, just so you know. You didn't see it, I am sure, cuz you had already done your comments. The strange thing is, earlier I checked and my comment was still there. Sigh
Love all those bitty grandchildren! Most in the photos were girls.
The more you pack, the less room you have to move around...but the less you will have to think about as the time gets closer.
Glad Lopez cooperated. Lucky didn't...he threw up again.
The photo of Himself really looks good. I can see why you 'fell' for him!
I am getting ready to go to the VA Hospital for ex-rays on my hip. They are also doing the knee and ankle on the same side where my hip broke.
I will have a chance to shop in the duty (tax) free store an get some lunch in the commisary.
My wi-fi died late last night. Still wouldn't let me connect to google this morning. I ended up calling tech support. They sent a 'hit' to my unit. All is fine now except that Facebook says that I went too fast logging in and I am temporarily blocked!
I'll just try it later when I get home. Will check back here, too, of course.
I trust the rest of your day will be pleasant! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Back on Wednesday. I have shopping and errands. You have a great time (and good food) with your family. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

Have you tried "refreshing" the page? I know that if a page is left open it sometimes reverts to previous versions, so it may help to either refresh the page or close it and re-open it. It could also be a glitch with the browser you use.

  3. LOVE the blasts from the past! Such wonderful memories.

And for sure, my parents always said to believe in myself and I could do anything. Well, that works most of the time. LOL

  4. It's Kathy. Thanks again for the pep talk. I was healing so well but now that the weather is so hot and humid it is really affecting my back. But you're right, if we just wait a bit the world feels like it's manageable again! Today is very warm. I really wanted to get out and plant a few more seeds, maybe get more weeds out of the garden. But that's going to have to wait until after dinner when it cools down a bit! Little Daisy sure isn't interested in going out in this heat! She likes to lay by the A/C vents! I hope you're having a good day!
