Remember to tell yourself, "I can do this."

                                                                     ME-----
I am FINALLY IN ELLIOT LAKE___
and--there is the sign that welcomed us to the North--

Surprise---!!!!!--I am here--in a sort of a way--I am in Elliot Lake--  in the house trailer--- moving into the townhouse in a few days--The movers will be in Lakefield to-morrow, packing everything--then driving here----  and I do move into the townhouse, here in ELLIOT LAKE on August 1st----

I must tell you also, that the service for Fred (Dr Young) was very nice--well attended--and the people who came , sent him off to Heaven with their blessings--The people you see in the picture above, were pretty much all family--but so many of his friends made it, also--  to send him off---plus the medical staff he worked with--

I simply had to write you this evening--so far--the new computer has not been set up--BUT--Because you all are the very most favourite friends of mine, I had to tell you the news--

                                                            You are  my favourite People!

Of course you can do everything-you put your heart into!---Tell yourself -"I CAN DO THIS"--because, of course, you can !!!

  13. It's Kathy. I logged off early yesterday so I missed your post, and this morning I had my Pilates class. Finally checking in and I was so happy to see your blog! I have missed seeing you each morning. I can hear how happy you are to be home! And I'm very happy to hear that the memorial for Fred went well with so many family members and friends. He was much loved in your community. Things are quiet at my house. It's been unbearably hot and humid here so there's been very little done outside. I have the A/C going most of the time and the fan on when I'm in the living room. We had 2 nights of really bad storms with lots of thunder and lightening. Daisy doesn't usually mind but both Sunday and Monday nights she was pretty scared! I don't see her much during the day, she lies either in my office or the bathroom right next to the A/C Vent! Cooler there I suppose! Thanks for checking in!

  16. OMG, sis...I just saw this! It's wonderful you arrived safely. Your things from Lakefield will, too.
Marvelous photo of the people who attended Fred's service. He was loved and respected by many people.
It's par for the course here. Chores, as always, but my closet is done! Everything came out. I paid a friend to lower that top shelf I couldn't reach, except for a few things...laundry is done.
We went to a Casino yesterday to play Bingo on little Ipad things...you just watch the screen as the numbers are called and it lights up and buzzes if you won. It was to celebrate Donna's birthday. She won $113. I won nada, but that's ok. I figure someone else needed the winnings more than I did.
Friday is my birthday. You will be moving. I will be going to the Minnesota Zoo with my daughter and grandson. They have a new red panda exhibit. They are so darned adorable. I've seen them on all the zoo shows I have watched.
We all, I am sure, will look forward to more blogs when your new computer is set up.
I will return. 'Til then...{{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  18. Glad to see that you made it safe and sound back to Lake Eliot. I'm so happy for you, because I know that's where you want to be. It will take time to get settled, but you've waited so long for this. Being in familiar surroundings is everything. It's good to see a smile on your face again.
