Older people are wise people--

So--I am FINALLY HERE---  Lordy BE! Life sure is hard once one turns 80---I am sure  they are trying to get everyone who is even "sorta " old--off the road--and I am nearly 84----  so they are REALLY   hard on 84 year olds----

I passed the memory test----  just so you might've been thinking that I forgot you all----NO---  I will never , ever forget all of you--but, had to begin to gather papers for the accountant who does our taxes--It is never ending isn't it--??

One more thing-- It has stopped snowing here--FINALLY--and , lately we have rain falling--better than snow---  NO SHOVELLING THE RAIN__but--(Isn't there always that "BIG BUT"?-)---
The snow is melting in our tiny yard, so it is pooling into a lake, which is fairly deep and Lopez cannot use the yard at the present time, so--it means I have to walk him around the block--which takes up a lot of my time-----Anyway----  Here I Am FINALLY!!!!

above--Charley--  Son#1's daughter--  with "De-Ja",  the dog,  and Watson, her cat--in the car--

and above--all of our Grandkids with a couple of parents put in the line-up

above---  Fred with Son#2 the  Pilot--

                                                    And there is his plane--
So-----  All I can add  is----  never give up-----  because eventually you can do everything--Your mind controls whether you live in a paradise or hell.  If you think you can--then you can!
Sometimes help comes from the strangest source. Hang in there!
Words I wish I had thought of--    #1.A good cry can be very therapeutic
                                                    #2, He who laughs, lasts
#3.Never leave home without a sense of humor-
So----Enjoy this day-- Be Strong---Be happy---  and always remember how wise "older " people are   -- I shall see you all to-morrow--hopefully, early----STAY STRONG!  -Lynda

  2. Hi Lynda! Happy Wednesday. It is cloudy and in the 70’s in Ohio! Congrats to you for passing your test. You are so good! Yes, paradise or hell our mind must decide. My husband is going 8 hours away next weekend for a work training. It is 3 nights. I guess my mind must choose how to handle it. I already am getting separation anxiety. I just dread it! I haven’t been away from him in many years and each day he only works 10 minutes away. So, wish me luck. I hope you are doing well today! Big hugs!

  3. Lynda, so happy for you. Does this mean that you can resume driving? If that's what you would like to do, I hope that's what it means. If you can drive again, do you still intend to move to the Senior Housing in Lakefield? I'm glad that you're having rain instead of snow. I think walking Lopez is good for you so that both of you get some exercise. Too much sitting is not good for anyone, no matter how old they are. Enjoy your day and give yourself a pat on the back. You've earned it.

  6. Good to hear from you, was worried. Glad you can drive again, or do you have to go see that doctor again, or go to the BMV? I mean, can you drive right away?

That picture of the girl sitting in a vehicle - can't figure out what is behind her, it doesn't look like the back of a car would, it looks like a tank or something.

And the pic of you and the flowers - that sure is a lot of flowers, what was the occasion?

  7. It's Kathy. YEAH!!! You passed. I knew you would. I think when one is under a great deal of stress it's really hard to even remember one's own name. And you have had plenty of stress in the past year, for sure. I'm glad the snow has stopped. I totally get the pools in the yard - we get that too. Luckily, Daisy is a lot bigger than little Lopez. Hopefully the yard will dry out soon. We are having some really lovely weather. Tom and I took Daisy for a short walk. I can only manage about 20 minutes and I have to sit down for a couple of those minutes - but I'll never be able to do a full walk if I don't start! We will have sunshine through Friday but then the cold is returning - I can live with that. I'm glad you checked in! Have a wonderful rest of your day!
