You are not too old, and it's not too late!

"Spring has Sprung-- The grass has riz, I wonder where the Boidies iz??-The Boid is on the wing, but that's absoid, I thought the wing was on the Boid!-----"

We used to chant that wee rhyme every warm day in Spring--kinda a crazy poem--and I do have news for you--The grass seed  has sprouted-not by much, but I see tiny wisps of grass --more in the front yard, but some in the back also--

Words I wish I had written--

#1.You are born to succeed

#2.Make the best of a bad situation

#3.Live in the present

#4.When you plant a flower garden, you show people that you care                 about more than just yourself-

                            Below--Blasts from the Past--

Below--Allison holding Sophia--This fall Sophia enters Kent State                                                         University

Below--All of us at Son#2's wedding

Below-Son#4 with his Daughter--"Andie" and Son#2-

Ava, with Andie and Heather, and Lisa and me -left side--  In front, Charlee,  with Emma and Ethan, with Fred on the far rt

Above Ava, Emma, holding Jacob and Sophia  on the rt

Fred and I out for Chinese Food--I think--

                                                Matt and Erin, just married

So--time to get- on with your day, -forget past disappointments, learn from others' mistakes, reach down and lift people up, and time to make your life more exciting than your dreams--Listen to your feelings, and, if you care, it will show--Go on-Get off of here-

  2. Hi, Lynda! Your message kind of cut off short, there is only one picture there. Odd. And it says "no comments," even though there are some.

Here, it's summer. Right into summer. Lots of humidity and heat! Supposed to get thunderstorms today. I'll stay inside!

Glad some grass is coming up for you. I've never had any luck in sprouting grass.

  5. It's Kathy. Love the photos! We bought grass seed yesterday - I am almost done getting the weeds out of our garden. Next step is the grass seed. Tom said he would help me with that but next week may be too hot. Have a wonderful day!

We ARE born to succeed. The only one who gets in the way of that success is . . . Ourselves.

  7. Hi Lynda, seems Gil's work in your yard is paying off. Have you and Dave made plans for brunch tomorrow? It will do both of you a world of good. Your family definitely enjoyed spending time together, and sharing a meal. Enjoy the weekend and play your piano.
