"You can--End of Story--"

Good Morning--  To-day is Tuesday, June 16th--Garbage Day here--And I must get it out--The washer is chugging  away--It is cold in here--I have the wee tiny furnace on--Hopefully  it will warm up soon inside-- The bed is made  and little Lopez must come down--I must get  him ---Gil and I kinda finished the back garden  yesterday--Gil is going to finish the deck in the yard--extend it-to-day--So when Matt and Allison arrive here in July, there will be more room to sit--

                        So--Words I wish I had written--

#1.Hang Loose

#2.Eat when you are hungry

#3.Live frugally

#4.Learn by doing

#5.Mind your own business.

                        and---Blasts from the past

above--The day after Fred died--Allison, me and Matt's wife--  our                                                 dogs consoling us---

Son #2 with  Erin, his wife, and Gerrard, their Baby

and below-- cousins acting crazy-Ava, Emma, Jacob and Sophia

Son#2 must have sent the above

                                Above-Ava, Son#3's daughter

-Emma, and Ava   -(sisters)-top step-with Jacob and Sophia, below

Time to get off of here--The garbage is out to the road-The wash needs to get into the dryer--Son#2 is heading back to-day from Belgium----and I must get off of here--He (son#2) did send some pics of food--

                                    of course--MacDonalds

As you can see, he eats well--LOL

So. Go-get off of here--  Try to enjoy to-day, no matter what happens--Remember, happiness does not exit in things, but in thoughts--and, of course, the key to freedom, is in your mind--I shall see you to-morrow-                Try to have the best day ever to-day----Go on-

                            Get going---Oh----and big hugs

  2. Good morning, Lynda! High 71 in Ohio. I must get a huge ladder and finish 5 minutes of up high scary painting and then go outside and mulch my shrubs. My ears are ringing for several days now so I must stay busy to deal with it. I also hurt from the all day painting. A woman’s work is never done like you say. Matt found some yummy food and of course, McDonald’s. LOL! I really think you should come home with Allison in July! That would be so great! I am excited about your deck. I better get going. Enjoy your day! Hugs!

  3. It's Kathy. We had rain overnight. I'm happy about that - no need to water. But some bunny ate one of my pepper plan ts - the second one. I have pilates today and I am going, but I sure don't feel like going. Did I tell you about my neighbor? She hates us and I have no idea why. On Sunday she came over to me as I was weeding on my side of our property line. First she told Daisy to SHUT UP! That diden't set well with me. Then she proceeded to yell at me for picking some weeds that were on her side of the property line (creeping over onto my yard). From there she had so many unkind things to say calling me crazy and making fun of me. I don't even want to go outside anymore! And Daisy doesn't either. I can't imagine being so unhappy to be that hateful! Well, thanks for listening. I do hope you have a wonderful day. I can't wait to see how your back yard looks when it's all finished!

    1. How long has that been going on? Can you think back to anything you might have done or said to upset her? That sucks!
I have people at work who don't seem to much like me, and it bothers me very much! I just don't seem to fit in there, and I'm very sensitive to that kind of thing! I'm shy and quiet, is all.

  4. Deck work? Awesome. That's happening at my house this week, too! Jinx!

I put up a temporary fence so that Ember will have at least a little freedom in the back yard for potty purposes while the fence/deck is "under construction". Have to get these things done while the weather holds!

Safe travels, as always, to Son#2. And a happy day to you, Lopez, and Sushi.

  5. Good morning Lynda, Matt found a McDonalds. He does enjoy their food. The second photo seemed like a large amount of food for one person, but it did look good. When are you going to share photos of your backyard? I'm sure it looks inviting. How nice that Matt and Allison will be visiting in a few weeks. Gil certainly is a man of many talents. I'm glad he is there to help you. Enjoy your day Lynda.

    1. Maureen, couple of days ago she put up a backyard photo, but not up close, really. It's along the back. You can't see the flowers, but you can see shrubs.

  6. Good morning, sis.

As sometimes happens, even though I did everything right, my comment didn't post yesterday. Here it is: I woke up early to a beautiful clear blue sky. It's still cooler, however. The temp now is only 56F. It will reach the upper 70s and cloudier.

We take good, loving care of our pets, don't we? They're now our babies now that our babies are grown. What would we do without them?

The blasts are great. Your sons look very similar. I can see the family resemblance in them and their kids.

My words of wisdom...no matter how many chores you need to do, take some time every day for relaxation and/or fun. You will be less stressed and get more of those chores completed.

Outta here...I'll be back later, of course. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

For today my Honor Alert necklace is activated. I am wearing it. No more laying on the floor for hours waiting for help if I fall again.

There's always laundry here. When clothes are done there's towels, sheets, blankets (I have lots of blankets for covers at night in my recliner, for the kitty, etc.).

I am in danger of losing my internet. I have to send proof of my need for assistance to the provider again. They should know, living at my address, that we are subsidezed and get help with our rent.

It's mostly cloudy here, rain later and only 55F.

Love the blasts. The 3 of you ladies with your dogs...the kids acting funny...etc.

My words of wisdom today...Focus on the positive side of things...it's there if you look for it. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
