Another day, another dollar--

Good Morning--  It is Wednesday, June 24th--freezing cold in here --I just came downstairs  to turn up the heat--It is 6am---Lopez and Sushi are still bed--I just got the washing in--turned up the tiny furnace---

Well, a lot has gone on in the past hour--The clothes are now in the dryer--Sushi is fed--fresh water--  litter changed--My 104 thousand pills have been swallowed--(and that is a challenge!)--My blood pressure has been taken--(nearly normal!)--and Lopez needs his walk now (well as soon as I can get him out there)-Oh, and I have coffee-I made it---I see the sun  is up--rising above the trees--looks like it might be a hot day--

Words I wish I had written
#1.Never lose your child heart.
#2.Don't be afraid to ask for help.
#3.Never look back.
#4.If you know nothing, say nothing.
#5.Being totally alone at times can be very healthy.

                                Jacob and Ethan-cousins

                                above--Emma and Ava

                                                Charlee

                                                                        my little yard--
(I had to throw that one in)

So--time to carry on here--get wee Lopez out--face this day--I hear the dryer telling me it is done--Gil will be here soon to finish up the addition to the deck--
--I hope you will have a fantastic day--Try to make it that way--Being able to live with yourself is more important than anything else--There will never be enough time, but there will be the time you need-Don't try to please everybody, but enjoy the day-So, Get up and Go--Get off of here-- and make to-day a great day!-Oh-----and  BIG HUGS--

  1. Happy Wednesday!

I was up and at em at 5:45 this am. I have run the Roomba in 3 rooms, washed two rugs that are now hanging outside, fed the cats, cleaned their litter boxes and I am only starting my day. Ugh! Wednesday's are always really busy for me. I still need to eat breakfast, call my Mom, get a workout and a shower in and make dinner.
I do hope your day is a little less crazy than mine.
It is going to be a nice warm sunny day here today before the rain starts up tomorrow.

Have a great day, whatever you do!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  4. Good morning, sis. You sure have accomplished lots already...including writing this blog.

It's still unbelievable to me that you get up before your pets wake you up!
Lucky started one me at 5:30!

Love Charlee's dress, but if she's going to a party, she probably should put on some fancy slippers or shoes. And all the kids on the stairs!

Your little yard is lovely. Is it fenced all the way around so you can let Lopez out? Take a photo for us when Gil finishes the deck.

They will be in my apartment to install the new smoke dector. Tomorrow is the city inspection, so I will be busy today. They mainly check safety stuff...no piles of papers, drains and heat working, nothing on the stove top, etc. They say they are not here to judge our housekeeping BUT...I was in the Army and demerits are still in the back of my mind.

Re: Words...I believe we are here to please ourselves, but if the opportunity comes to help someone else I always try to do it.

On with the day, Lynda. I will come back later. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. It's Kathy. We had a whole lot of rain yesterday afternoon but today the sun is shining. They tell us that the humidity will be up, but at least not too warm still. Looks like 90's are up for the weekend. I'm off shortly to my Pilates Reformer class - I do enjoy that class! But I'm still having some pain in my right leg. I have an appointment on 8/26 but I suppose I might have to move it up a bit. Every time I see that doctor he wants to do more surgery on my back. I loved the pictures and it looks like you've gotten more plants in your garden. Your back yard looks really nice! Have a good day.

  6. Good morning Lynda, you're a busy bee every morning. You've established a good routine. I was delighted that you posted a photo of your yard which looks great. Good on you and Gil for making it so welcoming. It's hot and muggy here too as it was yesterday. We have a cloud cover which holds the heat in, but I think we're in for a little cooler weather, which is music to my ears. Have an enjoyable day.

Yes, coffee and ice cream are very important! Oh! I was in Medina yesterday. We stopped at Dairy Queen to use the bathroom. Lol We were just out enjoying the day. Happy Wednesday! Big hugs to you, too!
