  1. Good Morning Lynda,
Sounds like you have the same weather we are having. It's 75F at 8am. It's so muggy outside and it's only going to get warmer with expected high of 94F. Thank goodness for A/C. I could stand the heat as a kid, we didn't have A/C growing up, but now I can't tolerate it like I used to. Although, the electric bill will be crazy though.

So right on doing what makes you happy and to enjoy life. Live life to the fullest!

Wishing you, Sushi and Lopez a terrific Tuesday! Stay cool!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

    3. Same here, Jackie, we didn't have it until I was at least 12, and I think, older - we had moved, and it was so hot one year we had to move the tv out to the screened in porch, and my mom had had enough by then - she installed whole house air conditioning that year! It was just a one story on a slab, so not as involved. Funny I don't recall EVER being too warm as a child. Now, I'm completely heat intolerant and am miserable if it gets hotter than low 70's, and if muggy, maybe 65.

Today, here in mid Ohio, it is 92. 97 tomorrow and all week mostly. Of course I have the air on and have had it running since probably April or whenever it got consistently above 70 inside.

  3. Happy Tuesday, Lynda! We are in an extreme heat warning in Ohio! I have watered my plants well and set some under my awning. A day in the country adds a day to your life? I should live forever living in the cornfields. LOL! I do love it though. I go every Saturday to the amish market and get stuff picked fresh that morning. You do have a holiday coming and ours on the 4th. I hope your holiday is fun and have a great day. Big hugs to you, too!

  4. Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. We had rain overnight and now it's heating up again. Makes the air feel hot and wet. Poor Daisy is so warm. I really need to brush her - get rid of some of that extra fur. Wishing you a Happy Canada Day in advance! Have a wonderful day.

  8. Hi Lynda, our temps are mild here for the next few days, but then it will start warming up. Great photos once again. I enjoyed the photo of the dogs sitting on the bench, so well behaved, even Lopez. Ethan has certainly grown up. I hope Lopez behaves himself with the groomer. Have a fabulous day.

  10. Pasting this from the email I sent myself cuz it didn't post here. Yes, I did click to 'publish.'
    Good morning, sis.

It's 73F now but will be 91F later this afternoon. We have mostly cloudy skies. A/C for sure!

Love all the blasts. The ones with all the dogs...marvelous! I have been able to pick out lots of your family and give them names. Fred looks great!

I know tomorrow is Canada Day. Canada Day weekend is usually celebrated, too, but this year it's in the middle of the week. Maybe there'll be a 5 day party! The 4th, of course is Independence Day in the US.

Lynda on your relies yesterday you asked if I have a washer in my apartment. I do not. That's why, periodically, I say I am going to check the laundry room. We have 2 washers and 2 dryers to fill with quarters and do our wash. Sometimes when I check the room is full and all 4 machines are going. These 4 machines are for about 33 apartments!

I did go see Toy Story with my daughter. It was my first ride in her new car. I gave my grandson his birthday gifts, too.

Ok, I will get out of here and on with my day! Let's all make it a great one! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
