Put your Sass on--

Good Day to you all-- To-day is Tuesday, June the 9th-and, we are a part of this day--We are up--Lopez, Sushi and I --I must drag the garbage out to the road--The washer is chugging away--and of course the AC has made it quite cold in my tiny house this AM.----We don't need heat--but we don't need the AC yet either--As Mom used to say-"between the Devil and the deep blue sea"--  Funny how these old expressions pass thru our mind isn't it??
It's almost 7am here  right now---So, yes, I dragged the garbage out to the road, and yes, I guess we need that AC still on-- It is very humid.---

So, words I wish I had written--
#1.It is hard to be a hero for a long time--
#2.Sometimes the truth is not simple.
#3.Each day set aside for some little fun
#4.When you're angry, count to ten.
#5. Death is the greatest mystery
#6. Being totally alone at times can be very healthy.

                            Blasts From The Past

                                            Son#2, the Pilot
                        Above, Charlee with Andie--cousins

above--- just a beautiful Fall day in the North

                        above-cousins--  Ava with Andie

                        and--more cousins-can yu name them?
Left to rt--Sophia,Jacob, Ethan, Emma, and Andie

                                Look closely--Who do yu see?
So, time to get on with this day--to get your "Sass" on--
                                            Remember----
So, to-day, remember the nice things that  happen-to you, -Enjoy the good times in life, because the roof can cave in at any time---expect nothing, and remember, in a battle, the heart will win over the brain--
Oh, for goodness sakes, just get off of here and get on with your day-and oh, one more thing---you cannot love a pet too much---and, live a life so that when you die more people are sad than happy--Oh Lordy Be-- just go--  Get on with your day!------

I bet it was hard to be in a mask and on a plane did they have to wear it all the time or could they take it off while they were flying

    Quote for today
A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.

  2. Good Morning!
We have a dreary day here today with rain on the way. It is warm and muggy though.
I have a massage today, which I am looking forward to getting. Always so relaxing and I sleep so well after I get one. Then I need to stop at the store and get a few things I didn't get yesterday.
So I need to get my workout out in and breakfast. I also have run the Roomba in the upstairs bedroom and the office, so a busy day.

Love all your words of wisdom. They make me smile.
And these are true gems............"you cannot love a pet too much---and, live a life so that when you die more people are sad than happy"-

    Have a terrific Tuesday, Lynda!
    Hugs,

  3. Good morning, sis.

It's alternating sun and clouds today...no rain predicted. The temp is 72 now and will climb to 88F!

I can't name all your kids and grandkids. Many of them look very similar. You can really see that they are related.

The photo of the fall day could have been taken here in Minnesota.

I want people to have a party when I 'die.' I will have made my transition to spirit. I will be whole, healthy and happy. Also still looking down on my family and friends...still supporting them, guiding them and knowing I will see them again eventually.

I have big plans today for chores. We'll see how man I get done. The rest will wait for tomorrow. I'll come back later, Lynda. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  4. It's Kathy. Well, so far today has not been a good day. We just got back from the dental surgeon which took about 1 1/2 hours. But we got into the car I drive most (we went to the store yesterday in it) and it WOULD NOT START! Then we learn that the estimate they told us a month ago was higher today plus we had to pay an extra 3% because we charged it on a credit card. Now Tom has gauze in his mouth and I have no idea what he is trying to say to me. I have a prescription that I may or may not have to get filled. I can't tell. Why the heck couldn't they have me come back when it was all done to listen to the instructions! And in one hour we go to the regular dentist so they can do something! All the dental reconstruction Tom needs done adds up to over $10,000. YIKES! So one day at a time right now! I hope your day is going well!

  5. Hi Lynda, I think it might be late afternoon in your little corner of the world as I write this. We're going to have warm weather all week long. Your grandchildren really are precious and obviously all get along together.
Wishing you an all around good day.
