Good Morning--To-day is Monday, June 22- We have sun--
Lopez, , Sushi , and I, are up--It feels cold in this tiny house--I have the heat on--The washing is done--waiting to go into the dryer--

Last night, Jackie picked me up, drove North, to Laurentian Lodge, where  a large group of women were out there celebrating the Summer Solstice---or-the longest day of the year--- We had a fabulous Dinner together----Most of us had lost our husbands, so it was very nice to get together---something  interesting to do--

So--Words I wish I had thought of---
#1.Sometimes things that hurt, teach-
            #2.When you really like someone, tell them.
#3.You have 2 ears and one mouth; use them in the same proportion.
#4.Use your public library

    Hi Lynda
    Cloudy and cool here. Bad storms with heavy rain yesterday.
    Your outing yesterday sounds fun. You sure do manage to get out to eat often. Great and saves kitchen clean up.
    My favorite is the words of wisdom. Lots to think about.
    Im skipping the gym today as I woke up not feeling stellar. I've got lots of calls to make. Trying to find a painter for a small project as well as a handyman. Seems, everyone is booked way in advance. Also VERY expensive hourly rates.
    Onward into this cloudy day. Ill make my own sunshine....play music and dance around as I clean.

    Good Monday Morning Lynda,
    Wow! Seems you had a busy day yesterday with Breakfast with Dave and Emma and Dinner out with friends. Good for you! I am glad to hear you are getting out and about more.
    Glad you have sun. We have rain right now, but it will stop and then just be rather overcast for the rest of the day.
    I need to get to the grocery and then back for breakfast and a workout.

    Love all the throwback pictures. The ice hut is very cool! And the picture of you Dad and his Dad as well as the other pics. .

    Beautiful blue skies here today and it will be a bit warmer.

    What a great blog! Love the blasts...the ice hut! The father's photo (who is the man in the middle?)! All the wonderful kids!

    Your soltice celebration sounds like it was alot of fun. What a good idea that was!

    Yes, we are unique but we are all part of the 'childhood of God.' (Can't think of another way to say it now)

    I've got lots of business calls to make today...before I loose my internet! The one I use now...only $15 a month...they say I no longer qualify. I don't know if it's 'cause my income inreased a bit or what. My phone is only 4G. I may have to get a new one and choose a new provider for more $ per month.

    Also have to pay on my car. It will be great when I can pay that off.

    I'll get offa here now and get on with the day. Here's hoping we can all accomplish what we want to. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

      Hi Maureen--The group of women are women who mostly live alone--so they organized these outings just to get together-nice people--They also travel to-gether and have a Horticulture; part also--Lynda

    Good morning, Lynda. It's Kathy. We are having a top 10 weather day - sunshine, no wind, and no rain today. I need to get outside to finish up the garden so I can put down the grass seed. Love your photos today, especially your dad with his dad! Those old photos are precious. More problems with our neighbor. She must be one very miserable human being. Sounds like you had a great time last night. I'm glad. Have a good day today.
