A New Day to get it right!

Good Morning--  It is Wednesday , April 22nd--sunny--cold outside--Lopez and I are downstairs here-- Sushi still asleep in bed--Son#2 the Pilot, is in Germany--Frankfurt-flew overnight-----just texted me to say he had landed--Below--His 'plane--I am always so happy to see he is there--

So, are you Happy --AND YOU FEEL IT?
Happy is the man who call this day his                                         own---We can!!

The wash is nearly finished--The furnace is  on---and--the best is yet to come--  a brand new day!- and----  Lopez needs to get out--and I need a coffee--so---__The wash is done--folded--  Lopez and Sushi, the cat,  fed--AND ME----Dave will be here soon to pick me up for "brunch"--  (He has breakfast--I have lunch-)-just nice to chat---

#1---So to-day, "Be all that you can"--Words I wish I had written--"There is time for all things."

#2.Buy a toy for yourself!

#3.Examine your life. Some things are better forgotten.

#4.Nothing is impossible to a willing mind.

And here we go---"Blasts from the Past"--memories  make our day go round--

My "Fred"-- with son#3 and his 2 girls--now in University

(I love this picture---Fred was such a great Dad--  a caring Soul)

My Mom and my dad--plus my 2 sisters  and my 2 brothers--  (I am behind my Mom)-: and below---My Dad's Dad-----In the picture below, he is holding my 2 cousins--

-He  lived in Port Perry and used to dance me round his kitchen--"A heel and a toe and away we go"-- when I was about 3 yrs  old-- I loved him to pieces!

above---  Son#2 the Pilot---  driving home, with his 2 daughters sound asleep-

                                                            -I love this picture!

cousins--Above--Emma-- (now in University) with Andie, her cousin--The smiles are                                                                     priceless~

My family--Mom, Dad  --(I am behind my Mom)

                                                        Son#1  with Charlee--his daughter--

Life should be lived with a certain pride--I hope that you place a certain value on yourself--Life can be a great bundle of little things--Keep the home fires burning--Oh--and floss your teeth--Even when you have pains, you don't have to be a pain--and if you know nothing-say nothing---and never be ashamed to fail--so so much advice----   a new day ---to get it right---

Just remember---You can never go wrong, keeping your mouth shut--

  2. Good Morning Lynda,
    Happy Wednesday!
Sounds like you have been busy already this morning. Yay you!
Now go enjoy your lunch/brunch with Dave (by the way, my hubby's name is Dave, well actually David, but only his Mom called him that). You deserve it.

    Have a wonderful day!

  3. Hi Lynda, Happy EARTH DAY. Pleased to hear that you and Dave went out today to have a meal. I hope you're having a Spring like day. What a sweet photo of Matt and his two daughters. Do you still plan to move back to Lakefield even though you're now able to drive? It will all work out.

  4. Hi, it's Marti! Nice to see some different pictures that I haven't yet seen!

It looks like you are having a great spring day with temps in the 60's? You must be loving that! Did all the snow melt yet? It seemed to take forever for the snow to melt here, but it's been long gone now!

I worked until 5 today because I will be off on Friday, and whew, I feel dizzy from tiredness. I slept okay last night, but have been exhausted all day! Anybody in the market for vintage silverplated items, I sure did post a lot of those today, ha ha! 28 of them, in fact!

  6. It's Kathy. We have had another very warm day. I love that I don't need the heat on all day but my preference would be to have some actual spring-like weather. We walked Daisy again - I can only manage about 15-20 minutes but it's something. I do hope one day my back will be strong enough to hold me up so we can walk longer. As always, love the photos. Such good memories. Hope you have a good evening.

  7. Hi Lynda! Hope your day went well and brunch was good. Stormy this evening in Ohio but sunny and nice all day. I bet Matt finds some snitzel. Yes, floss your teeth. I told my son the other day that I was the teeth police. LOL. He was talking about staying on his kids to make sure they took care of their teeth. Have a great night. Hugs!

  8. Good evening, sis.

I was gone for HOURS today driving John to a town 50 miles away to get his benefits. (He couldn't do it online. "They" kept saying that he was giving the wrong info). Well, they couldn't do it when he was at their office, either. We did have luck with his internet. He will get it for $15USD for each month.

Great family photos, as always. You have a large loving family.

I trust you enjoyed your meal with Dave.

Sorry I am posting so late. Hope you see this. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  9. Loved your pictures today! So many happy faces! Those memories are some of the most precious things we own! Thanks for sharing! I mowed all 4+ acres today! Gas prices are high now, but I have faith that they will get lower! I could have waited and mowed tomorrow, but decided I did not want to mow on my birthday! Going to have a nice quiet day and hopefully get a pedicure! Having kids and grand kids here to celebrate on Sunday so will need to vacuum and dust etc. before then! Just ordering special pizzas and salad...easy and fun and plan on having my sons help me with a few outdoor projects! hahaha!
