I have returned--

Good Day----- on this  Thursday, April 30th--last day  of this month--April showers bring  May flowers---and, maybe Hummingbirds-AMD---I AM BACK___  Sorry that some days-I just vanish---  and I feel bad about that--but,  (always a "but" eh?)--  it is usually because something great has happened in my life--and, this time, (yesterday) it was because of a Dr's appointment at 8am, at the clinic--WITH A NEW DOCTOR--(A DR who helped me a lot with the man that I married--Fred)-----and it worked out well--I climbed the 47 steps up to the clinic, and was so happy to meet this Doctor--

It is coolish outside--- (Canadian for "cold")---no snow falling, sunny, but "coolish"-- I hear the washer is done--   The dryer is next--  and--I below is--is Son#2, probably at     MacDonalds, with Allison, and her Dad, that guy that I married!

                                    Blasts from the past

Below---  another celebration --at Son#1's restaurant

Below. my Dad on the right--with bis friend Ben-They met in Huron Lodge and were good friends after both their wives had passed-

Below--  Sophia and  Jacob,  Allison's 2 children, many moons go, visiting us one snowy day, from Ohio

Below--Fred and I with  son#4's daughter  Andie

--So many great times in our lives
So many  wise words  to think about also--Words I wish I had written-
Words like--
#1. Keep a stiff upper lip
#2. Imagine great things
#3.One cannot feel happiness all of the time.
#4. Wish upon a star
#5. The truth is relative
#6. It is never foolish to forgive

Lordy Be--  I must get busy --get the clothes into the dryer--get Lopez out--"A Woman's work is never done!"--Remember your Mom saying that???--  and remember also, all you need to have fun, is one good friend----Mom used to tell me that also--So, I hope your day is happy--
Make it that way!!!-Only you can do that!

  2. Morning Lynda,
I noticed in your blog you wrote today is May 30th. It's actually April 30th. I know, because today is my Birthday. :-) Tomorrow is the first day of May!
Glad all went well with the new Doctor and you feel comfortable with him. That's always good. I have had some really good Doctors and some not so great ones over the years. I especially dislike the ones that are condescending or don't listen or ask questions about my issue.
We have cooler weather here as well but the sun is coming out. Supposed to reach 60F.
    Great family pictures as always.

    Have a wonderful day!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  3. Good morning, Lynda! Yes, May is tomorrow. It is a high of 51 in Ohio. It had been in the 80’s last week but now cold for awhile. You have been busy. A woman’s work is never done, for sure! So happy about your new doctor. Some have bedside manners and some do not! I love all your pics today. You have a wonderful family. Enjoy your day! Hugs!

  4. Wonderful news that you have found a doctor that you can relate to. I've had the same doctor for 27 years and she's wonderful. Sadly, she's going to retire next year. Your busy morning is off to a good start. I hope your day continues to go well. You should be pleased that you can still climb 47 steps because a lot of people couldn't do that at your age.

  5. Good morning, sis.

It is mostly sunny here, but the wind sure is "coolish." Temp is only 44F due to get only to the the 50s.

I have already been out to gas up the car. Was going to take a friend somewhere but he chanced his mind.

It's really good that you have a new doctor that helps you! It's important to have a good relationship with your medical team.

I saw my PCP Monday on the computer and my physical therapist Tuesday the same way. I love it!

Love the blasts as always. Gosh! That photo at the party at the restaurant is filled with smiling faces! McDonald's? I am eating a bacon egg and cheese biscuit now!

Beautiful weather finally came. My lilacs are all leafed out and will have flowers in just a couple days.

Back to check later for additions and replies. I WILL make myself a great day...you do, too, Lynda! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  7. It's Kathy. I'm glad you have a new doctor and someone you like! That is so important. I love my doctor but one of these days I know she will be retiring. She's been my doctor for 20 years. I understand that some days are just filled with too much stuff. But I'm glad you checked in today. Tom and I just got back from the lawyer's - it's time for us to create a will. He says a Trust is the best so when we're both gone the kids won't have any issues. The way our government keeps taking money, I suppose that's true! Have a lovely rest of your day.

  8. So happy you like your new Dr. That is soooo important!

It's coolish here, too! LOL No rain today, but rain/snow mix tonight into tomorrow. Guess despite being Spring, Mother Nature isn't done with nasty Winter yet.

    Here's to a good evening.
