AGAIN____Life is what you make it!

Good Morning--It is Wednesday April the 1st-----sunshine--and, lollipops maybe--"April Fools Day" is what we used to call to-day--and then we would say to Dad--- "Look, there is a mouse crawling up the wall--", and when Dad would look up, we would  bend over, laughing and laughing--"April Fools Day-"------

If we were at  Grampa's house, in Port Perry, Grampa would always play that "Mouse Game"------APRIL----the beginning of summer-----Usually the Humming Birds return soon around this day----fly around the kitchen window , looking for their feeders--What on earth will they do this year as I am not there to fill their feeders--????

Yes, Be Strong Lynda---  Maybe forewarn the new people living in our home there now--???
Changes---  One must adapt--move on---Control your thinking--Look at things in a new way--

Take everything with good humour and a grain of salt--memories are unrepeatable--So---a short blog this am---because I am soon off to repeat doing a memory test---will return soon---
Remember this place???

and this man????
I shall return--later this afternoon-Son#2 just called--said "Mark Carnie is negotiating to bring Canada into the European Union"--and I said, "What does that mean?"---and Son#2 said, "APRIL FOOLS"----
It's "April Fools Day"--

and there are the 2 older sons--Son#2 on the Rt.
Enjoy this day--Remember--
Life is what you make it1

    3. Thanks, Lynda, but you must have me mixed up with someone else. I have no family to play games with, it's just me here.

      Hope all went well.

It's a much cooler, dreary day today. Bleah.

  3. Good morning Lynda, I have been praying for you that all goes well and that this jumping through hoops comes to an end. You started off your day on a positive note, may it continue. Why not hang a hummingbird feeder at your new home? Maybe buy a shepherds hook that goes into the ground just outside a window and then you can watch the hummingbirds at the feeder. With the temperate climate in California, I have hummingbirds all year round. I'll check back later to see how your day went.

  4. Good morning, sis, although it will be late afternoon when you see it.

Yes, our lives are our creation...by our thoughts about it. Remember the past, live for today and dream tomorrow.

The laundry room was empty for me today! I am due in just a few minutes to put the clothes in the dryer.

I just spent $50 on cat food for Walmart to deliver. It will last quite a while, though. That is NOT an April Fool's Day joke.

I'll be back to check, Lynda, later this afternoon hoping to hear how your test went. Just relax. It will be fine.

  8. Hi Lynda! It is cloudy and rainy all week in Ohio. Flood warning. Lots of rain. I took my nephew for iced coffee drive thru when the rain stopped for a bit. Chinese for dinner. I know you love that! I am cheering and praying for good results on your test. Big hugs!

  9. It's Kathy. Good luck with the memory test - saying a quick prayer for you! I'm just home from Pilates and it was such a good class. Soon Tom and I will go to the Driver's License place and renew our licenses. I got mine in December but didn't have my original marriage certificate (we've been married over 30 years so really?) so I couldn't get the Real ID License. With that one we don't need a passport to fly locally. I do remember your home - it was a beautiful place by the lake, a great place to have children around!

  10. I'm back from CA! Time difference has made me feel jet-lagged! Trying to catch up on your blogs, laundry, mail, etc! CA weather was warm, sunny and beautiful....overcast, raining, and chilly here in IL.

I am praying that you do well on this memory test! I know you can do it! "Let Go, Let God". I know you can do it!

  11. Thinking of you as you take the memory test! You will do fine. I just know it. Reading your reply to Cynth . . . glad the test went well, but soooooo hard that you have to jump thru more hoops. Han in there. Hugs and prayers all goes well.

Have some sun today, but it’s going downhill quickly. Oh well. Tis Spring, a time of change.

    hugs and blessings
