Good Morning on this Sunday, April the 12th-- AND WE HAD A DUSTING OF SNOW OVER NIGHT_hard to believe eh?--April the 12th-- and "SNOW"----Little Lopez thinks the LEATHER CHAIR is his bed--Oh well--I guess it is!--LOL--at least for now--So, I am going out to shovel off --or sweep off, the car-_kinda depressing---but--What can I do about it--"not much"---Jackie is coming to pick me up--going out for breakfast--I shall return--
Well, I was just out to clean the snow off the car--and around the car also-- There isn't much, which is a good thing--and I hear the weather lady talking about "RAIN"-which sounds good to me!Sunday, April 12, 2026

Good morning, dear Lynda! It is cloudy and 75 in Ohio! I am Sadie today. We are having a late Easter tomorrow with son and his family. My three sweet grandchildren will be here. Ava is 9, Gracie 11 and Cooper is 13. I am super excited! I am cleaning and making food today. Sorry you have Winter lingering on around there. I hope you get warm and sunny weather very soon. I see handsome Lopez. He is a cutie. My two yorkies are napping now. Music to my ears. I need to go finish coffee and get the bed in the wash. I hope you have a lovely day! Big hugs!
ReplyDeleteSo so nice that YOUR Grandchildren are arriving at your hand theY Will love your baking-- Just enjoy them-- hug them--so good they are coming--Cooper is 13--Wow!!!--growing up-- Yu can have fun with them--play charades =--and "I Spy"--and feed them all the stuff their parents don not want you to give them--like "Oh Henry Bars" etc--My Grampa used to do that with us--WE Absolutely loved him for that!--LOL--Lynda

DeleteGood Morning Lynda,
ReplyDeleteOh, more snow. Hang in there, hopefully it will be gone soon. We have partly cloudy skies but the sun is on the way and it will be in the 80's later today.
Lopez looks so comfortable in "his" chair. Such a cutie!
It's nice you are going out for breakfast. I haven't heard you mention a Jackie before. I like her name, lol.
Well have a fun day in spite of the snow.
Hugs,
Jackie
Yes Jackie lost her husband the same week as Fred-- She is from Minnisota-----a very nice person--lonely--like me-- We were just out for Breakfast--Hugs to yu, Lynda
DeleteWe did see the sun to-day--That is a bonus--Lynda
DeleteGood morning, sis.
ReplyDeleteOut with Jackie? I don't believe I've ever 'heard' of you talking about a Jackie. Lady or man? Out for brunch like you do with Dave, shopping or just a visit?
The temp is to be warmer today. It's already 61F...but it's overcast and there is much wind. Maybe rain later.
I've got a list of chores to accomplish. We'll see how many get done. I have to shop, too. I need nails! I want to hang something. I have the hammer but no nails. I have lots of screws, though.
I am checking the laundry room too...to see if it's busy.
All in all, I know it will be a good day. I keep my thoughts positive for the most part.
Love the photos! Happy people enjoying each other!
We both have many wise words. I sometimes think I should practice those words myself rather than just advising others.
Back later, Lynda. Have fun with Jackie! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
No, out for breakfast --like with Dave-- She lost her husband same week Fred died--and is from Minnisota----So, she told me it may get up to 50 dergrees here--HERE--in a few days--I can't believe it!--Lordy Be! I am tired of snow--LOL--Lynda
DeleteWinter here in APRIL--=- Lynda
DeleteGood morning Lynda, sorry that you had a dusting of snow, but perhaps you're closer to Spring like weather since it was only a dusting. Nice that you have another friend to go out with to have breakfast. Do you have favorite foods that you eat for breakfast when you go out? We're having rain showers today which is a good thing since everything dried out when we had the very high temps and California is prone to having wildfires.I hope the remainder of your day is enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteMaureen from California
Maureen-- No--no favourite breakfast--nice to think of it as "Brunch" tho--breakfast-- Lunch--=I was moving winter parkas upstairs this afternoon--just leaving lighter jackets and coats down in the hall closet--that must mean a sign of something eh??Lynda
DeleteGood news I guess--Spring is in the air--Lynda
DeleteI really enjoy seeing your old pics with parents/siblings/grandparents/etc. We only have a copy of one old pic of my mother's father who died before I was born and one old pic of my mother from high school I believe (I know it was before she was married). We have some form when I was a kid but not many because we couldnt afford the cost of developing/printing very often. Guess folks don't have to worry about that these days LOL. But then I don;t know how they afford all the cellphone bills and fancy phones. My plan is only $25/month, but I didn;t even get that one until I disconnected my landline & DSL and used that money to pay for real internet & the new cellphone plan (had Tracfone with only a tiny bit of data as my cell before that, about $75/year).
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your test tomorrow. I just read that when you take your thyroid pill in the morning, you need to wait an hour before drinking coffee as the caffeine interferes with absorption of the pill; are you doing that? If you pass the test & get your license back, will you be staying or still moving? Do they not have an all inclusive senior living place near Elliot Lake?
Good for yu to read the thyroid info--It was Allison who discovered that online and now my Dr has changed it to bedtime--and it has made a huge difference-- The test is on the 14th--Can yu say a prayer for me??--Yes they have an all inclusive Srs place here but they do not offer meals and movies et--but who knows i may stay--It would be erasier-- So good to hear from yu--love, lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. Love the photos, especially the old ones. We have 2 recliners in our living room. I sit on the right and as soon as Tom gets up in the morning, Daisy gets into his chair. She likes to sit there when I'm reading or watching TV - so she things it's her chair and she just has to let Dad sit there in the mornings. Dogs are so cute! I love that Lopez has found a comfortable chair for himself! We're off to church shortly, suppose to be very warm today but rainy! Have a good day and enjoy your breakfast!
ReplyDeleteWow--It does sound lovely and warm there--ever so nice!!--We do have rain here to-day--At least it is not snow--LOL_-Daisy sounds so cute! Lynda
