So, are you happy??

It is Saturday, April 25th--Lopez and I just walked around the block-----and Lopez did his business--It is mild outside--nice--no rain--OR SNOW--falling--no sun either-----The wash has been in the washer--  and dryer and is folded ready to go upstairs--

I think I forgot to tell you that yesterday, I had a "covid Booster shot-"---at Shoppers Drug store----and had no reaction--no pain--no nothing---so, hope it works as I hear COVID is all thru Seniors  homes--I guess where Seniors live together in a large place--We must be so full of Covid stuff that now we have no reaction--I hope!

Below, is Emma, Son#2's daughter, holding Watson, Son#1's cat and Charlee, Son#1's daughter--

and below-- Charlee, with her Barbies-lots of Barbies!

Above--the guy that I married--with Tim, son#4

and below--"dock life-"

--  lots of bare feet--with Gramma-==-ME

Below---  lotza action at thne dock--

"Words I wish I had Written"-
#1.Love many, hate few!
        #2. Mind your own business
#3. In difficult moments, visualize a favourite place
#4.Stick to your guns

I hope that your day , is a great day--Make it that way---  Love yourself first and most--Let positive energy flow through you---Praise others for a job well done-Make your house a home---
Remember, the good that people do, lives after them--Maybe cut in half the number of things to do to-day--- treat people as if they were what they should be--and---remember--
The only way to have a friend is to be one!
I hope that to-day is special for you-
Like your life-

  1. Good morning Lynda, once again your morning routine is in full swing. Perhaps the sun will come out later. At least there's no snow or rain. Good news that you received your Covid booster. I think the best thing is to have only one shot at a time. We may have rain showers this evening which will help with the drought. I hope you have an enjoyable weekend, maybe brunch with Dave tomorrow. Charlee must have every Barbie ever made. They look like they've been well loved.

  2. Happy? No. Content, maybe. I don't think we're meant to be "happy" every day. There have been very few times when I was fully aware of feeling "happy" in the moment. We should try to check in with ourselves more as we're living it, I guess. It is very gloomy looking out, and that really does affect my mood, for the worse.

  3. Good morning, Lynda! It rained all night in Ohio. Cloudy but nice today. Windows open and no mowing so it is quiet. I hear only the birds. Good news no problem from your covid booster. I don’t do shots. You know me and needles. That cat is extra big! Pretty. Look at all the barbies. She will be a good mom. I hope you are having a great day! Big hugs!

  4. YES! I am happy! I got up early this morning and took 3 boxes of paperwork to be shred at a special event - called "Shred Day" - we were only allowed 3 boxes! I was about the 5th car in line when it opened! I have been working all week at getting rid of old papers - mortgages from 1972 - lots of old bills, and stuff that was my mom's and mother in laws paperwork that has been sitting in file drawers for a long time! It feels so good! I still have more, but it made a big dent! I am/was a "saver" but after my dehumidifier fire and losing so much stuff, I am determined to get rid of stuff and stop worrying about if I will need it someday! I am also happy as I told you that I just had my 79th birthday where I just spent the day relaxing and tomorrow I will be celebrating with all my kids and grandkids! So yes! I am happy!

  5. Good afternoon, sis. I am late today. I tired my eyes out on the computer so took a very early nap. Now I still have lots of time left 'til the end of day. That's okay by me.

We have gloomy skies but no percipitaion, too. The temp is only in the low 40sF.

All I'm doing today is garbage and recycling...maybe.

Gosh, that kitty is fluffy! Looks like he has one of what I call "angry cat" faces. But I'll be he's happy with the love he gets.

And what fun by that lake...on the dock...no shoes...and happy family members together having fun! So beautiful there.

Are you still going to move now that you can keep your liscence?

Love the words of wisdom, except I'd remove that hate few...we are all from the same Source energy (God). We can love all but NOT all their actions and beliefs.

To have a friend, be a friend was what my mom taught me when I was 12 or 13 and my friends were picking on me.

Off to get the with the litter box scooping contents, cat food cans, ice cream containers (rinsed out) and other recyclables ready to take down along with the small garbage bags in the bathroom and here by the computer...and check the mail.

I'll be back here at the end of my day {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
