Lets be Pretty Kind-

Well, the above made me smile--  I guess I write, because I feel women need  encouragement-- Women work hard--from morning till bedtime-and they never complain-(well, maybe , sorta!)-As My Mom always said, --"Women make the world go round--"--
And a good day to you--To-day is Thursday, June 11th--and it looks like it is raining out there. It looks quite dark-- Lopez and I are up however--
Yesterday, Son#2, the pilot--well, his daughter, Hannah, graduated, yesterday from Ottawa University--Her Dad, Son#2, the Pilot , attended the service in Ottawa--There they are---below--  I watched the ceremony on the computer, here in my tiny house--amazing what we can do these days!-She is the first grandchild to get her degree-Fred must be so proud of her, up in Heaven--

Son#2 with is daughter, Hannah
So, the AC is flying inside here this AM--The wash machine is chugging away also in the kitchen--and little Lopez keep trying to curl up on my chair--not his chair--  little rascal--He keeps checking on me, hoping I don't see him--

Words I wish I had written--
#1.Trust our instincts
#2.It is harder than we remember to be a child-
#3.Worry about to-day before to-morrow-
#4.Mind your own business
#5.If you cannot be kind at least be vague.

                            AND---Blasts From The Past
Above--  There is Fred , on the left and--Son#1, and Son#4
Below, Ava and Andie, (cousins)- out fishing--
Below--Look at those children--Ethan- Sophia, Jacob, Ava, Andie, Emma and Charlee--Cousins --one Christmas
                        Blow--Son#1 and wife, holding Charlee
Must've been Xmas below--Chartlee, Ava, Emma, and Ethan

So--- time to get on with this day--I hope you have a good day--Make it a great day---To-day only comes once- Converse to please others, not yourself-Don't talk about being tired--Remember to praise yourself--and be kind to your pets--and your neighbours-- and your family--so much advice--  LOL
Love who loves you-- So-- get off of here-- and enjoy to-day--

MY dear friend Lynda in an answer to yesterday you saying that you hope the grandkids would pay for me to go see them they will never do that they are way to much like their mother they only care about the drugs and themselves this is another reason I will not make the effort to go my boys could and would take me if I really wanted to go. They live in South Carolina and I live in Arizona
Congratulations to Hanna this is a fantastic accomplishment you all must be so proud of her

  2. Good Morning Lynda
Congratulations to Hannah on graduating from college. That's awesome! Is she going into a certain field of work?
It's another hot and steamy day here in the Cincy metro area. It's 8:45 AM and it's already almost 80F. We have a chance of rain which will make it even steamier. I do think a little bit of a cool down is on the way for tomorrow and then a nice weekend that's rain free.
That's so cute about Lopez checking to see if you are watching him. My cats do that sometimes.
I need to get a workout in and then I have a mani/pedi this afternoon.

    Have a wonderful day!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  4. Happy Thursday, Lynda! We are in a heat advisory in Ohio. Congrats to sweet Hannah! Yes, Fred is very proud watching from up above. We are going the next town over to shop, eat lunch and go into a little bakery I have wanted to go to. We have yardwork and powerwashing to do but not in the heat advisory. I will sip iced coffee and shop. LOL. There’s always tomorrow. Oh! I made it 40 minutes half way to the softball game to see my granddaughter but couldn’t do the rest. It was a narrow country road full of tractor trailers and amish buggies. It was terrible! I told my husband let’s go home. I was sad. He is going to a game next week. I hope you had a great day! Big hugs!

  5. Hi Lynda, fantastic news about Hannah. I hope her hard work pays off for her. College grads here in the States are having a difficult time finding a job. The rain will be good for you newly planted grass. Be careful driving in the rain to join the other ladies for breakfast. Nice for a change that you'll be eating with a group. Warming up here in California, but no humidity in the forecast, thank goodness. Enjoy the day Lynda, you deserve it.

  6. It's Kathy. I love the first meme - yes, I write so I know what to think! Perfect. Tom is healing but I think I finally convinced him that there's nothing urgent that needs to be done until he's feeling better. Today his mouth is a little swollen but that's exactly what the paper says will happen on the 3rd day, so he's doing pretty well. Congratulations on your granddaughter's graduation. Yes, I'm sure Fred is smiling down on her with such great pride! I remember that he did love his grandchildren! We have rain here too - they predicted it this morning but I was hoping to get outside before it rained. I did not make it! It's coming down so lightly, maybe it will stop before evening! Have a wonderful day and thanks for sharing your family with us - I love all the smiling grandchildren.

  9. Women DO make the world go round, add sanity, add compassion, add loving to this ol’ world, which can use lots much of EVERY ONE of those things.

    Rain/storms. UGH.

Love the blasts! All the wonderful kids at Christmas!

I need to be brief cuz in a few minutes I need to leave for the VA Hospital for an appointment at 10. I may come back with another comment when I return.

Oh! Wise words...I have, since a young teen, followed my intuition. I learned that if an idea or action makes me doubt or feel 'off', I don't go with it. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
