You are amazing-

Good Morning--To-day is July 13th--and it is Monday--(Everyday is sorta the same  isn't it?)--The only difference to-day, is--I changed our mammoth King  sized bed--The sheets are now in the washer--It is hot upstairs, even with the AC on----  Lopez is not up yet--Sushi is--so--I must get him--I do see the sun coming up over the horizon--and this afternoon , I see by my phone, the temperature will be 28C--very hot!

Yes, "YOU" are strong--special--awesome---loved--amazing--brave and courageous--but--- you--and "we"--have to try to be that way--It isn't easy , but "WE CAN"----if we try--

Words I wish I had written below--

#1.One cannot feel happiness all of the time.

#2.Keep your cool no matter how dire the situation.

#3.Accept life's limits  and inevitabilities  and work with them rather than fight them.

#4. Time works wonders-

                                        Blasts from the Past

Pretty neat photo--(LOL)--Son#2,  with a cat on his shoulder--Timmy, and Phil, with Mr "T" in the background--Funniest picture ever!!!

above--Son#2-with his 2 daughters asleep in the back seat--a good Dad

                        OK--Son#4 is up to something--

        Above--Jacob (Allison's son)-Son#2, Son#1 and Son#3

OK--Whose kitchen has more dogs than ours?

Could a dock  hold more kids ?

So-time to get on with this day--Are you happy??--  Will it be a good day?--It will if we try to make it the best day ever! Surround yourself with things that make you smile--Do not look forward to the day when you will stop suffering--because then you will be dead---Never sleep apart from your spouse unless you have to--So much to remember in this life, isn't there?--  Be strong--Be happy--Laugh and the world laughs with you--?--I hope so!!----  Time to get on with the day here--Oh--Hug your pet too-- and dole out the hugs--BIG HUGS!!

  2. Good morning, sis. It's hot here, too. Our weather service has given us an extreme heat warning until Thursday at 9PM. I know yesterday it was 92F in the afternoon with high humidity. It's only 72F now. It would be nice if it would just stay at that temp.

Love the blasts...all the dogs, the kids on the dock, sons with kids (asleep in the back, must've been a pretty long drive), etc.

I have plans to gets lots done today. It will probably happen cuz I got up early. I will have to go out.

I have a large beautiful cantaloupe to cut up, share some with my neighbors and eat lots myself. Melons are one of the best parts of summer.

It's surprising to me that your pets aren't up yet. They must hear you moving around. They're just comfy, I guess.

I'll be back later, Lynda. For now (and always) {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  3. Good Morning!
    Happy Monday to you.
It's going to be sunny here today but not too hot or humid. Mid 80'sF.
So not a bad start to the week weather wise. It is going to get warmer later in the week. So I will enjoy it now before it gets too hot.

Loved all the pictures. Especially the one of your boys being boys.
All the dogs together is cute too.

Hope you have a wonderful day!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  4. It's hot here too at the lake house. My cats are enjoying the 3 Seasons Room as they are surrounded by windows and can look out at the birds and squirrels. It is hot in this room as there is no air conditioning! Just fans and if I open the windows, hot air comes in! This is my last day and night to stay here. Will head home tomorrow. Hopefully the cats do well on the trip back. There was lots of road construction on the way down! But I have done as much as possible here at this house.....some deep cleaning, decluttering of lots of stuff, and even some new little decorative items were purchased! Love your words of wisdom and pictures of your family!!!

  5. Good morning Lynda, a very hot week ahead here in Southern California, with moisture in the air which makes it humid. I won't do much running around because the combination of heat and humidity makes me feel unwell. What a wonderful photo of Matt, Tim and Phil. Of course your other photos are great as well. Enjoy the day ahead.

  6. It's Kathy. I always love your photos - such a happy family who seem to love to be together. I love my 5 children but they don't really like to do the family thing. I miss that sometimes. The guinea pigs have gone home and I'm very happy about that. Daisy misses them, I haven't moved the box yet and she still checks on it. It's very hot here today too - in the 90's all week long. I hope it breaks soon! Have a good rest of your day.

  7. Hi Lynda! It is 86 today and into the 90’s this week in Ohio! My son and his sweet family are coming tomorrow. It will be a hot but a fun day. My three grands are 9, 11 and 13. They are very good kids. They live almost two hours away and with sports they don’t make it too often. I am super excited. I hope you are having a good day. It sounds like it is hot there, too. Allison should be there soon. Stay cool. Big hugs!
