  2. Good Morning!
    Happy Friday!
That's awful about the wildfires up your way. I know they are talking about it on the news and how the smoke is drifting down to the US and affecting air quality. There have been so many of those wildfires this summer there and in the US.
Glad for Friday. It's been another busy week so I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow and having a relaxing day. At least that's the plan. May try to get out and visit a few stores tomorrow since it was rainy last weekend but they are calling for rain again this weekend. (sigh)

Anyway, wishing you a Fabulous Friday!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  4. Good morning, sis.

We are still under a heat advisory. It's due to be 93F again, but is only 76F now.

I checked online. A great part of the world is experiencing this heat. All North America, Europe and the Middle East. A large part of these 'heat domes' is 'our' fault: Burning fossil fuels and deforestation have increased greenhouse gases, causing the baseline global temperature to rise.

It reminds me of the yucky things ancient civilizations like the Mayas and Aztecs did that caused them to fade into history.

Luckily, I don't need to go anywhere...unless someone needs me to take them somewhere. I plan to just do some chores around here, take a nap, love on Lucky and play games on my computer. I do have A/C but don't need it on yet.

You didn't mention plans. Have a great day. I will come back earlier than usual to see if you have added anything to your short and sweet blog. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  6. Good Friday morning to you, Lynda. Hopefully you have a milder day today. I am enjoying the cooler temps here, but it will be short lived as it will be back in the 90s next week. There are so many fires burning in Canada, and I've been reading about terrible fires in Spain and near Paris. Humans are to blame for this climate change. The US had been really doing well in using renewable energy and then the man who lives in the White House is bringing back fossil fuels, coal burning plants and the like. He doesn't care because it's making him richer. Oh well, not much we can do about that. Whatever your plans are for the day, I hope you have an enjoyable time.
