Good Day to all you sexy Grandmothers!

This is the last full day of winter!

Thursday, March 19th-- and we have more snow---OHhhhhh  Nooooooo!!!---  The shovel boys will not get here till after supper too-I will have to wade thru the snowy mess!

Guess what?--The wash is not in yet--I must get it in --Lopez, Sushi and I are up here--feels cold in here--I must turn up that small furnace--another late   "going to bed"  last night as  it was another celebration at Son#1's restaurant--his grand daughter's Birthday --the baby was  there with her Mom--and here I am with--the baby--Whatta sweet child!

I shall return---  Give me an hour--
The washer  is now chugging away-- I took the million and one, pills--I have Sushi's breakfast ready to run upstairs--and-- guess what?--a new day has begun--and----it sure does not look like spring outside--the snow looks quite deep--
So, it is a new day-- a chance to try to get it right--another day to try to enjoy the life you are given --to respond to rudeness with kindness , only your mind can make things impossible--and set aside quiet time every day.

Below---our daughters family---with her husband, and 2 children--Sophia and Jacob

Sophia with Tyson their dog who has reently passed

again--Sophia and Jacob, her brother

Below---Fred--my best friend, with Son#1 and Son#4

So--Are you happy and you know it?---wise words I wish I could remember-
#1. A wise person knows that she cannot know everything
#2.Go with your gut feelings--
#3. Getting older and living for a long time, are two different things-

Time to say good morning, again , to you--and time to get on here with the day-
Try to be a tad wild and sexy--to-day----as Grandmothers--should be!

Some days I just don't seem to get anything done around here....I think I need some sort of "energy drink"! LOL! Loved your photos this morning! Lots of smiling faces! Your cold and snow make me realize that I need to start thinking about packing clothes for me trip to CA next week.....it's in the 90's there and I still have winter clothing out here! Hope you have a great day! Thanks for the Snoopy hug! Sending one back to you too!

  3. Good morning, sis. It's still uner freezing here, but it's due to be 50F! Dense fog now, though, for a few more hours.

I am soon off to the veterans' hospital again for 2 appointments.

And yes...a million pills...I hear that! Sometimes it seems that we do have that many.

Love the photos. Sorry that the doggie passed, but all life does. They must have great memories.

Wonder what 'the boys' ordered at that restaurant.

I am sending a photo I took yesterday to your email. We can't paste anything here...not even a funny meme like you do.

I am for sure a sexy grandma! No one here to appreciate it, though.

I'll check back after I returen from the hospital to see if you've added anything. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. Morning Lynda,
The snow just doesn't want to go away up there. Does it?
It's cloudy and breezy here with a high temperature in low 60's F expected later today. They say it's going to keep warming up and it will hit 80 on Sunday. We'll see. This roller coaster weather seems to be giving everyone a cold.
My elliptical broke on Tuesday and I am lost without it. I hate not getting in my cardio. I am planning on replacing it as soon as I find what I want. It's weird not using it every morning.
Not much else going on today but I do have a mani/pedi this afternoon. Got to get my tootsies ready for open toed shoes. :-)

    Wishing you a wonderful day!

    Hugs,
    Jackie

  6. Good morning, Lynda. It's Kathy. I'm sorry it's still so cold where you are. We are getting some warmer weather coming from the southwest - I hope in a couple days it reaches your world. The snow we got on Sunday is almost gone. It gets hard overnight in the colder weather so now when Daisy tries to walk on it she sinks down. Funny little girl has a nice path of no snow but she walks in the snow that she sinks in. Who knows what she's thinking! Take care today. I love the photos and how nice to have a party celebrating such an adorable little one!
