  4. Morning Lynda,
Weather is not the best here today. Spitting snow and sleet but it doesn't seem to be sticking. Hopefully, it won't freeze on the roads since I have to go out later today.
I agree with you and the other poster, so many awful things going on in the US and around the world. I hope things get better soon because it can't happen soon enough for me. I definitely have opinions about what is happening to the US but I will keep those to myself.
Anyway, wishing you a good Monday!

    Hugs,
    Jackie

  5. Good morning, sis. Lucky and I havne bee up, too, for a while now. Breakfast eaten, emal and Facebook checked, kitty puke cleaned up.

My huge storage closet is cleaned, except John has to bring back the shelf above where I stored paper products and hang the doors.

The nursing graduation photo of you is beautiful. I guess you weren't yet a twinkle in your daddy's eye when the photo was taken of your grandpa and the babies...or you would have been in it, too.

You will be fine with that silly test, dear, trust me. Just take some deep breaths to be calm. Please be sure to let us know.

I go to the doctor in 4 days. Hope she can tell if it's really neuropathy that makes my legs from my butt to the soles of my feet tingle and get hot (kind of) all the way down when I'm stretched out in my recliner or in bed. It wants to drive me nuts...as if I wasn't already. And what's up with my shoulder and upper arm.

Off now to see what the day brings. It's only 21F now, but no more snow due today.

    {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  7. Lynda, you sound positively perky this morning. Please don't worry about that memory test. You will do fine, of that I am sure. I hope your day goes well, and that the weather improves a little bit more each day until Spring is here.

  8. It's Kathy. I do love remembering those "good old days". What wonderful cars we had back then. Tom and I are off shortly to get some groceries. We have sunshine and it's warming up quite a bit. They say we might see 60 degrees by the next weekend. I don't really care about the temperature as long as the sun is shining. Makes life feel so much more cheery! Have a wonderful day.

  9. Really have mixed emotions today! Just did paper work and put money down on a new car....as my granddaughter needs a reliable car as she will be doing her clinicals and traveling a lot. (She is at the University in the nursing program.) My car is 7 years old but only has 60K miles on it....so I am selling it to her for a really, really low price! The truck she is currently driving has over 220K on it! So I go to pick up my new vehicle tonight. Happy to have a new car, but sad to give up the one I have because my DH bought it for me 3 weeks before he passed away....but I know he would be happy that our oldest granddaughter will be driving it! Will be thinking of you tomorrow as you take your memory test! Stay positive and just think about all the things you do now to take care of yourself and your home and car and animals, and banking, etc......you have a great memory!
