Good morning Lynda,
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to hear from you. I read your blogs but some days I just don't comment. I miss your blogs. Sparkguy sent a message to people who was on Sparkpeople and he is trying to get it started up again! If he does I will let you know.
Dan & I are just bumping along. We still have a garden and I still am walking. Still have 10# to loose and still living at the same house for the last 50 years. We are getting estimates on having our house painted. We had siding put on years ago but the sun bleached it and it needs to be painted. Ugg, it never ends.
We are getting smoke from the fires also and we are under an air quality alert also. It has been hot and humid here for the last week or so.
I know you must be happy being back home, where you can still see your beloved lake and having family so close.
I think of you often, and hope you are still playing your piano.
Take care and keep smiling
Bev

DeleteSmiling. Mom always said you weren’t dressed til you had your smile on. She was/is right!
ReplyDeleteOh we are sharing that smoky air. Smells like a campfire. INSIDE for sure. Unhealthy air quality.
Allison’s kids look just like her! Beautiful.
And love the goofy grandkids! Makes ya smile, doesn’t it!

DeleteGood morning Lynda, the wildfire smoke from Canada is drifting over the northeastern part of the United States and several health advisories are being issued for those living in the States being impacted. Beginning tomorrow, the weather here is suppose to drop to the mid 80s, which will be a welcome relief. Last night at 9:30, it was 82 degrees which is 27.7 celsius. Do you still get your hair done on Thursdays? I hope you continue to do well.
ReplyDeleteMaureen from California

ReplyDeleteGood morning, sis! I am running late. Had to go out to get gas and rent $ before the temp was sweltering. It's already 85F. Yesterday it reached 95 and is likely to do so again today.
ReplyDeleteLove the blasts! Christmas with your dad and Fred also showed a doggie and a kitty (Biggie?). Love the dogs on the dock...could they be Tess and Beau? Those are the the ones that stick in my mind as you mentioned them in your earlier blogs.
You are on to the Law of Attraction, though you just don't call it that. I know that cuz of your comments." a part of to-day, anyway-Yourhappiness is the result of your own effort--Remember that! The world you live in is created by your own mind--Successful people are successful because they believe they are-." It's all in our beliefs!
Back later, love....{{{HUGS}}} Maggie
It's Kathy. Yes, you remember right. Lauriellen has had a lot of issues with the boys' father, Bryan. Although court has finally finished and she had 100% physical custody of both boys. Bryan has visitation - Every Tuesday evening, every other Thursday evening, and every other weekend Friday - Sunday. It's still challenging for her because Bryan isn't exactly reliable, but he is doing better. And he paid her the back child support and now she's getting about $1500 a month from him. Helps to pay the bills. I love that photo with your dad and your entire family. Those memories are so precious. I tell people that I miss my children (even though they are all still around), but I miss them as children. Although I do love them as adults. Life can be so complicated sometimes. Oh, and we have smoke here too, in Minneapolis. It was really hot yesterday and when I looked outside about 6 pm there was a haze in the air. So we have also been told to wear masks if we need to be outside - me and little Daisy are staying in! Have a wonderful day - you always cheer me up!
