Good day to you all----mid morning here--- I have walked Lopez  several times---  nothing happened--Sometimes we win, and other times, no luck--but we tried--

It is Sunday---(the Lords day-as Mom used to say-) and maybe I will get to town later to get a few bananas----

So, did you have a time trying to find this blog?---Even I did---so I resorted to what I used to do, by typing in "blogger"---  and it worked-- the 

"https://leanjean6.blogspot.com",  works very well also---But-whatta nuisance eh?

Yesterday was a difficult day with Himself---  I think he was just tired-- like--late in the afternoon---When he gets that way, to him, I can not do anything right--I try to pretend that I do not hear him, --the ranting and raving all about what a terrible person I am--I realize it must be difficult for him to accept that I am taking care of him--  You see, it used to be the other way around.  I cannot change  anything when he gets in that mood--I do know he doesn't remember being that way the next day--

Life is so weird isn't it? Who would ever predict  things would turn out like this---? -- To-day is a better day---so far----

The above picture was taken in Ottawa --- Son#1 was the baby in Himself's arms --Himself is on the left and beside him was Dr Mederos, the best man at our wedding, who now lives somewhere in Spain--We tried to find on Facebook, in Spain--or the Canary islands, but there must be a million Damian Mederos-in Spain--

- Himself used to call Dr Mederos-- Lopez--- That is how our wee Chihuahua, Lopez, got his name.

Anyway---- life goes on---  and we deal with it--- and I am able to--- Good thing  the kids help when they can--and then there is all of you, who, many of you are living a similar life --  We do embower each other---

It's Saturday--a day to shine!

Good Day to you all--I am trying something new here--not posting about the "BLOG" on Facebook, because there are Hackers who are sending all kids of crazy stuff to my email and hacking my Facebook account-

-So please tell me_-Are you able to still find me, when the blog is not advertised on Facebook?--  How do you find this blog anyway?--  I just open this site by typing in "Blogger.com"--then look for "LAKESIDE LADY"----Can you  let me know how you find me--and  I sure hope that you do find me-- 

I am heading to town shortly-have to get to the Pharmacy before noon-- And--just to let you know--we have sunshine-- cold temperatures, but--NO SNOW FALLING--YEAHHHHHH--It might be the end of winter--I hope!

   It just might be Spring--and--you must know that I can't sign off of here without some kind of advice--like--"Don't let the crazies get you down"----and , "Stay strong"--

Man oh man--- I very nearly did not get here this AM----  but--here I am-- I hope that your day is going well--Is it?--I HAVE THE TAX STUFF READY TO SHIP TO THE ACCOUNTANT__and I will do it when I pick up Himself at his Day Program---  I do not know if all the stuff is in the box but, I'm going to get it off anyway--

It has FINALLY stopped snowing here--Lord love a duck-It snowed for 3 days , non stop---lotza shovelling went on--by me--

And, I turned on the computer  this AM, and there was a letter , which was another scam--I called son#2 who confirmed it was a scam-- He said stuff on the computer like that is not a letter-- it was an email--If it was a letter in the mail, it would be real--  but--lord-y be, it did upset me--People must think that we are really stupid eh?-  It said, "click" on the phone number--I have learned to not do "the Click thing"---  NEVER DO THAT!

Anyway, another day here---still cold, but there is sun---which gives me hope that Spring might be in the air--To-day is going to be a good day--- I hope in your part of the world it is!

Good morning--"Celebrate Yourself"---Are we  happy with "OURSELVES"---I believe, for the most part, we  are- because we try --- try to do what we believe is right---I think the hardest thing for me, is to NOT EAT ICE CREAM--- --to stay away from the lovely clothing store-- I do have enough clothes--all sizes, to outfit our whole town---Anyway---

This morning, Lopez and I , trotted around the yard here--in the snow--- and Lopez did do what he was supposed to do--And yes, we had snow overnight--about 4 inches of soupy wet snow--Will it ever stop snowing here---  IN APRIL?---  Last evening however, I began to do the taxes--so, hopefully  I can get them off maybe by Monday--And the snow tires must come off also- I booked that appointment for next week--" A woman's work is never done-"----- Mom always said that!

So---  How was your weekend?--Here, I was busy--mostly because of the snow--I always go to bed , with my kindle--helps me forget all the household chores--  Reading carries one away to another world----I remember my Dad always telling me, that his Mother  was an avid reader----  I wish I knew my Grandmother more-- I was too young to appreciate her-

- Do you feel that you really know your Grandchildren?----I love them to the moon and back----but--do I know their hearts desires?-no---not at all---I wonder if they are prepared for the busy adult life they will enter into?--- 

            I must get off of here if I am going to get  the house-y stuff done--AND _-it's "Hair Day"--

                To-day, I hope you can be happy---- a Strong person--- and Kind--- We  are all works in Progress--

                                                                    Good Morning--

As you can see., we have power---- It hasn't gone out--which is amazing considering the weather we have had overnight plus the rain and snow falling to-day-It sure doesn't seem like April----  The freezer was beeping this morning- when I got up--which means it must've shut off sometime during the night, but the rest of the house was fine--even the computer--Weird!!!  

 Son #2, the pilot, arrived back into Pearson Airport , in Toronto, earlier than expected-in that storm,-from Britain-- He said it was a "wild'  landing,  with very low visability due to the rain coming down-- It didn't seem to bother him however--just was happy to be back home-- Pilots love to fly---  no matter the weather--  and the "rock and roll" landing, he thought (I think)-was interesting-----He was going to pick up his dog, Gerrard, who had been boarded---

Himself could not get into his Day Program and is a tad grouchy here--Too bad , because seeing other people really does help him. I did not want to drive in the wintery weather--

Hopefully I can do "TAXES" to-day---I must forget the "house-y"stuff and just sit at the dining table and sort out all that paper work--and ten, to-morrow get it  off to the accountants--Lordy Be! I will be so happy when that is all done. 

Did I tell you all that there has been geese spotted in town , in a park by the lake-- Our lakes are NOT open yet, so these poor geese must've been in a state of shock-I have not seen them since, so perhaps they moved on to the big lake -Lake Huron--which must be open--

Some days I have to remind myself that I CAN DO THIS---  that I am a strong woman---Man oh man!--No time to be a WIMP--- Tell myself the  saying below---Lord  Love A Duck! ----We really do not have a choice do we?

                        Last night, reading all your comments, somehow I messed  up my replies--- but-- it was good to hear from you all-(Oh my Goodness--Now it is snowing outside!)

Do Epic S-T-U_F-F----

This has been a weird sort of morning-which means that I am "later than late--"--blogging----This morning I received an email from a "Hacker"--   saying I had sent them "X" amount of dollars -(which I hadn't---)--  I called our bank and they told me it was a scam, and not to call the number they had posted to tell me to call them--  Apparently when you do call the number they say, "oh. your account number must've been wrong, so what is your account number"----  and if you give them your account number---well, that is the scam----  It was from "Pay Pal"----  of which I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM--
 These scammers think of everything-- The Lady at our bank told me she had to deal with the same issue last week with someone else---  so BEWARE--

And then---Himself decided he wanted to go to Dollarama----  so , I took him---  dropped him at the door-then went to park---  AND----WHEN I CAME OUT WITH HIMSELF-a man was trying to park right beside me--but way way too close to my side of the car---I said, "Excuse me but I cannot get into my car"

-AND , HE SAID, "Yes you can"--and walked away-----RUDE MAN! --No ATTEMPT TO MOVE HIS CAR OVER--I did get into our car but really had to squeeze--I think crazy people tend to shop at these Dollarama stores.  --So, I'm back home---  but frazzled-- I hope your day goes better than mine has!

And Son #4 just came out to show me how to start the generator ---  They predict power outages here to-morrow-- So--Always remember---  to be strong--no tears--do your best---  and you can do everything----I know you can be strong, because I am cheering for you---  

Son#2 the Pilot is  en route back to Toronto from London, England-as I type--He sent you all a picture of Buckingham Palace--

            He said he would say hello to the Royals , from all of us! Bless his heart eh?-

Memories are made of this!

Here is that rabbit AGAIN---Easter Monday--  a Federal  Holiday-- meaning--??--  well, they say banks are open, but our bank is closed--  and it's not a statutory Holiday--I guess the stores are open. Are they open in your area?--Anyway, it is nice to have an extra day tacked onto the Easter weekend.

Sadie, (who is really me!)--did not get the day off--was here early and vacuumed--And Son#4's daughter's Birthday is to-day so we are going to their house for dinner--kinda nice!---I have a card ready and will put some $$$ in it--

This is APRIL 1st--- APRIL FOOLS DAY---   My Dad's Dad, always used to try to fool all of us, on this day-- in his kitchen, as we sat at the table eating breakfast--His name was Samuel Allan Wallace--He went by Soddy Auddy Wallace--SAW ----to everyone 

    Grampa  on the far rt with the braces--  Gramma on the far left--  at the side of their house--in Port Perry, ON.

Anyway, always on April 1st we seemed to be there--- and Grampa would say--"Oh look, there is a mouse going up the wall"--and of course we would say, "Oh yes, I see it"--because if Grampa said it was there, it must be there---- because Grampa knew everything--- To this day, I have always played "the mouse game" with my own children---  and we laugh and laugh------

We absolutely loved Grampa-- and we loved his huge old house, with the cows outside ( Mom warned us that all hell would break loose  if we ever stepped in the cow patties!)--and the chickens in the shed--  and the stove pipe going up inside our bedroom which we were told to not touch--

 -Now how did I ever get onto all that?--  Memories are so precious aren't they?----and of course, a reminder , always a reminder ---- to NEVER GIVE UP__ to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF--to BE KIND----and I hope you take time to-day to remember those memories  told to you by your Grampa--- Isn't  it strange, but I do not have those fun memories which Gramma must've shared--or--maybe she never had time to share-- I only remember her carrying in huge bowls of vegetables from the kitchen to the dining room at meal time-- (A woman's work is never done!)

Big hugs to you all-- stop and smell the roses to-day--- spend some time with the children ---Memories are made of this!
