Another day-another dollar-

                                                             Get out there and be amazing!

It is a new day--a day to "get it right"!-----and we can do it---  and as Dad used to say to me, as the tears rolled out of my eyes over something I am sure was very trivial--"Keep your chin up!"---Funny what you remember over your childhood--

So, I now have  LOLA--and Apollo---- Son#3's Pooches--I have no idea how long these visitors will be here------Lopez was ecstatic when he heard they were coming--just went crazy running all over----

Now, son #2, the Pilot, sitting out in Vancouver just sent a pic of "the love boat"---  I never knew there was such a boat--

It seems like a good day to have a good day----kinda rainy here but that is OK---I am hoping to get to the nursery this AM---I shall leave Himself at home here with the Herd of dogs--and, of course I must leave you something to think about-

Make everyday is special occasion---

 Good day to you -"Forgetting your Fears"------today for sure--and maybe to-morrow also--and maybe even the day after that--"Fears of the unknown-"---  like-- should I move-?- maybe I should just stay here?--what if the house doesn't sell-----what if I, are not able to do the grass--how will I handle a move--and what about Himself?--- Will be handle a change?--like moving into the Lodge??--Lord love a Duck--but--to-day I really will be happy---forget all the above---Sometimes "stuff" just happens and then, don't you jess wonder how everything falls into place?-- 

Anyway--  This morning Himself is at his Day Program--He enjoys  going there-- and the staff know him and treat him with respect--We have sunshine with black flies-

--OH----Before I forget, Son#2, the Pilot is en route to Vancouver--He sent you all, a picture of a pilot (him )--getting ready for the flight--studying charts etc ---

I hope that your day goes well--If per chance, to-day, you meet someone who looks like they might be in the depths of despair, -perhaps a warm smile , from you, might help them to be happy--to feel good to-day--or--maybe if you dance around them, like a crazy fool, as if you were at Karaoke---you and them, just might make both your days a special occasion--

Two days in the year that nothing can be done--

        YES---- To-day is the day--the right day---to love, believe,  do, and mostly to live---You cannot do anything about yesterday----or to-morrow--but-----TO-DAY, YOU CAN____and here, the sun is out and it is a glorious day---not too hot---nor is it too cold--

AND---- I FINALLY got a phone call from my brother--my oldest brother, who lives in a Lodge-- near London, ON.---Remember him?---So He is still alive. His son  called , and put my brother on the phone--  (I do not believe the son likes me--do not know why--as I have not seen him since he was 2 yrs old-)---  It was so good to hear that "brother dear" is alive -When one ages, you see, you always wonder who is still alive or not)-(-It all boils down to "life or death!)-anyway, it made my day---

I found the above interesting--I hope that you are able to read the 6 little stories-on---"Faith"--"Trust"-"Hope" "Confidence"-"Love"and '"attitude", with examples of each--I found it made me feel good  to read the examples and how they relate to our lives-

I hope that your day is going well--that you are happy--- are appreciating being alive---and smiling at older Ladies---and PILOTS. who try to avoid all turbulence in the skies, to keep you safe--and remember that if your dog is getting bitten with insects, "Child-Proof" insect repellant is "DEET FREE-I mean, the poor dog  gets bug bites too--

It's never too late--

To-day was "Get Himself to his Day Program" day----and do as much as you can in a short time at home--I dropped Himself, then went over to Shoppers to pick up a few things--and---  when I went through the cash, I was asked for ID--kinda strange as we have lived in town forever it seems---- I thought maybe because I was not dressed up--and my hair looked  sorta like a "rag mop"--Working outside all last week did not help "the hair-do"-

  --I knew the lady and her husband behind me in line at  this store----- and they were kinda laughing that I was asked for ID--and they were not----  Anyway, I  showed  the cashier my Driver's Licence with my picture on it--and I was allowed to go, with  whatever I had purchased---BUT---I did feet like a bit of a criminal--

-Now that I am home here, I have phoned the store owner---She explained that years ago when all my points were stolen--(by someone on Toronto) the owner, being a friend  of my Doctor Husband, retrieved all the lost points and replaced the card I did have,  with a card which identifies me as a  store worker--so, believing that I was not a store worker, I was asked for ID----Lordy Lordy!-- Confusing eh""

Himself , last evening, probably out of frustration, was difficult to handle---  He refuses to wear his Hearing Aids--so, whatever he does hear , confuses him--- We managed to get thru the evening, as I have learned  not to argue with him--ignore the hurtful comments-- and always remind myself that , what he is saying  is not how he means to act--AND_WALK AWAY---The "walking away"--is the key to a happy life right now--

    Playing the piano is a good thing to do, when all is heading downhill fast, on our home front-- and I did that----

This whole thing  that happened last evening made me wake up to the fact that maybe I cannot take care of my other half too much longer and I must begin to plan what is going to happen--

                                                                So,  it's a "wake-up" call--

-and-- whether I like it or not---plans must begin to be made- 

And now, I must get off of here--- and you too--

LAUGHTER is our soul dancing-

 "Keep your chin up"-- As you know, Dad used to tell me that all the time, when something went wrong, and the tears were falling, and as you must remember, the tears  have always  fallen easily in my life---Oh, AND---It's true----"Just do the best you can"------ALL THE TIME!

It has been a sort of, crazy day--I called the store where I had purchased the new lawn mower--told them it does not like our fairly large property--and bogs down--quits---  and because it is a battery mower,  and when it tries to cut long grass, it uses all the battery-life-- and these tiny batteries take forever to charge- The man at the store said to bring it back as I had 7 days to do that--So , I loaded Himself into the vehicle (because he likes to be a part of everything)-managed to get the mower into the hatch and away we went--and the store refunded the $1200--and we came home---  so, it's me and the EGO mower now--Lord help me if that EGO quits now--

I just turned on the AC-It's already quite hot in here----buggy also, outside--swarms of black-flies --Poor little Lopez is so bitten--all on his tummy--I stopped at the pet store to try to buy "Bug Spray" for pets---- which they were out of-Apparently dogs should not have "DEET""--products  on their  skin---Have you heard that?--

Lunch time here---You know, I'd love to have one day with out a problem that I have to solve--To-day was the lawn mower-- I did solve it----  but there are so many other things I need to do--- like--visit the garden centre---Do you feel that there is never enough time in a day--or a week--

                                                     We all need to laugh don't we?

HAPPY "NOW" YEAR !

To-day is "Victoria Day"--a Holiday in Canada--No Shopping for bananas to-day---- No shopping period!---- Below is a picture of Queen Victoria----I guess in her days, people, especially Queens, wore a lot of clothing--even on their heads--and I'm sure there was no A.C.---  One has to be grateful that we were not alive then, in the summer--so, things could always be worse!

I must tell you, that I saw a rabbit this morning, when walking Lopez--very unusual to see a rabbit around here--probably why the neighbours have spotted a Lynx   or  is it a 'Bobcat" wandering around the neighbourhood--? They feed on rabbits I hear.

Son #3 just appeared---helped me clean out one side of the garage-- There was everything in that side but the kitchen sink--At least I can sweep it now----There is a riding mower which is never used anymore--Decluttering AGAIN! --- 

Tomorrow I shall return the new mower-

  Well---  Guess what????  The EGO mower--the one I thought was not working----  nothing is wrong with- it--- -  CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?--HOLY COW---SON #4 came out and extended the 2 arms on it and it is now working--HOLY COW!-- I AM GOING OUT TO CUT GRASS--There IS a GOD in HEAVEN--- -- I Hope that your day is going well-- --  Mine is starting to----

I do feel like a bit of an idiot here--buying a whole new Lawn Mower---  and all I had to do was extend the EGO arms-----and my very most favourite mower is now working---I feel like a -bit of an idiot--

Pennies from Heaven

    Good morning all---Yes, I do wish you all a peaceful day---  perhaps with a wee rest , after lunch--with  your book--As yu know, it is a long weekend, a Holiday weekend, here in Canada--Victoria Day to-morrow--I learned from you all, that your Memorial day is the 27th.

Our grocery stores are open to-day, but at 10am-closed to-morrow--so, guess where I am going this morning?-- YES!!!!  back to the grocery--and, yes, I am sending you all , a big hug--- because you  are always on my mind--You reinforce  to me, that I'm not alone  doing what I have to do, and kind of feeling sorry for myself--When I read your messages, I  believe that without us , the world might not be the same place--

I must tell you, that the lawn mower I purchased last week, is not cutting long grass--It got bogged down--so, it has to go back to  the store where I bought it--I  am so disappointed  -- Again, it is a battery mower with tiny tiny batteries which take forever to charge----This is a big property and this mower cannot seem to handle it!--

Now isn't the above so  true?--"Finish every day and be done with it----Do not waste a moment on yesterdays"--------so difficult to do-----but such wise words-----I  must try  to remember  what it says--

        So--Happy Sunday to you all---and----  I hope that you find a penny to-day--  It just might be a penny from Heaven that an angel tossed to you, maybe, to cheer you up!
