Another day-another dollar-

Get out there and be amazing!

It is a new day--a day to "get it right"!-----and we can do it---  and as Dad used to say to me, as the tears rolled out of my eyes over something I am sure was very trivial--"Keep your chin up!"---Funny what you remember over your childhood--

So, I now have  LOLA--and Apollo---- Son#3's Pooches--I have no idea how long these visitors will be here------Lopez was ecstatic when he heard they were coming--just went crazy running all over----

Now, son #2, the Pilot, sitting out in Vancouver just sent a pic of "the love boat"---  I never knew there was such a boat--

It seems like a good day to have a good day----kinda rainy here but that is OK---I am hoping to get to the nursery this AM---I shall leave Himself at home here with the Herd of dogs--and, of course I must leave you something to think about-

                                                - Just look below---- kinda interesting--

  1. Why is your son afraid to tell you how long you are forced to take care of his dogs? And no warning ahead of time ? Strange, can you say no? Good luck dealing with that.

  2. Funny that Lopez is excited about the visiting dogs :-)
Bad storms here yesterday - fascia on garage was ripped off and dangling in the wind....chairs went flying into pool and table & umbrella were knocked over and all the tiles in the table shattered to pieces....a 2 hour power outage, but I was OK because of the whole house generator. Hoping today is better!
Really like the insert about 20 things to do today! Will try hard to do as many as I can, because it is a new day and I am grateful for all my blessings!
Hope you have a good week-end - and that those black flies are gone soon!

    1. Hi Sandra-That sounds like a very bad storm-- Were yu frightened??--lots to pick up after--and God Bless the generator--That stuff always scares me- You know I FINALLY heard from my oldest brother in the "home near London --, ON., I believe his son who checks on him took his phone away--and yesterday this son of his told me that I can only call him at 10-30am--- and talk to Marvin thru his cell phone-- (the son's cell)----This son is a bit weird-- Anyway at least I know my brother is still alive-- Crazy eh?-- Lynda

  3. Good morning, Lynda! It's cloudy and cooler today in Ohio. Thunderstorms this evening. I hope my grilling plans work out. It has been a hectic week. I had the handyman here this week and the yorkies were not happy. Then, I had the landscaper here after the third time of them changing the plans and messing up my days. Finally, got my shrubs planted after almost three weeks of waiting after I was told I would not have to wait. You now how it goes. Ahh! You have the granddogs! What fun for little Lopez! The love boat? Wow! That looks neat! I plan to do one load of laundry but mostly have a recovery day! LOL Hope you have a Super Saturday!

  5. Lynda, seems like extra doggies or not, you're having a good day. I am glad.
I'm having one, too, so far. Took a friend for an errand, she pumped gas for me, and we shared a wonderful sandwich at a famous local coffee shop.
I have to remember to sign up to get my travel pay for my trip to the doctor last week. Because it's 45 minutes away, they will deposit $41 and change to cover my gas.
It's beautiful weather. Not real warm yet, rain due tonight. Now it's mostly sunny.
We have mallard ducks that return to our property every year. The group consists of 5 ducks. Of course, we can't be sure, but it seems like the same ones. They block our driveways, etc., but we don't care. We all wait for them with love in our hearts.
Karaoke tonight, maybe. JoAnne may not want to go because of who the deejay is. I may go alone, if that's the case. I have lots of other friends there, however.
Sadie finally did my dishes. Sweeping, floors, vacuuming still to come. She may do some of that today. Bathroom is clean already. We always have chores, huh? You more than those of us who live in apartments.
Hope you get done what you want to do today and get a bit of leisure, too. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  6. It's Kathy. Daisy always loves it when her sister Annie comes but when she stays, not as much. She gets a bit jealous that Annie gets some of my attention. I love that little Lopez enjoys the company. On the 30th I see a Neurosurgeon. Had 2 MRI's last night so those results should be in by then. We'll see what he has to say. I just don't like the 6 months of recovery but if it helps with the pain it will be worth it! I love all those suggestions! Something to think about. Have a great day!

  7. Hi Lynda: Glad Lopez likes having his company! Since the weather is getting better maybe they can be outside more. It was rainy here this morning but has cleared up now. Great pics. I've heard of the love boat but think it was a TV series long ago. Have a good night. Hugs Brenda

    1. Yes it really was a TV series--- dunno if the boat he saw was really that or he just called it that-- Lynda

  8. Hi Lynda
Hope your day was as awesome as you are.
I'm surprised that Lopez enjoys the company of your sons pups. I thought Lola set Lopez straight a time or too. I'm sure Sushi doesn't share any excitement for more dogs. Sushi probably stays upstairs and avoids all 3 dogs.
The list of 20 things..absolutely love it. I'll work on incorporating those into each day. Love it.
We had storms last night but it's sunny and 80F...just a perfect day.
Sadie showed up and knocked off everything on the inside chore list.
I went to a large farmers market. Nice things but pricey. I didn't buy anything. The planters were lovely but way more than I want to spend.
I didn't know there was an actual Love Boat. I thought it was a fictional backdrop on a long ago TV series called Love Boat
Relax, kick up your feet and pet a lap full of fur babies.
