Everyday is busy isn't it?-- But, you know, what if there was absolutely nothing to do, everyday? That would be worse--maybe--LOL----(maybe not--LOL)
So, what is on your agenda to-day?--I would like to cut the grass--- and maybe weed whack later on--- dunno for sure--- grab a rest, and hopefully read my book, "The Women", recommended to me to read by one of you-- and I am enjoying it.
-And what about my other half??--the guy who is almost 96?-- He is trying so hard to just survive--and he really is doing a pretty good job of that. He actually praised me for bringing in the plants last night , as we had frost--
And I have my hair done and I feel I look pretty spiffy---AND--- I stopped at my favourite store yesterday and I purchased a couple new outfits to wear to town , so I won't look like the "bush Lady--"--
So, now that you have decided that it is a good day to have a great day, I will let you get to it, and will talk to you to-nite--Sadie (who is really me)-is knocking at the door with her mop---- so I'll let you go----now get going---- WE CAN DO THIS!
Thank you for brightening my day!! I hope your day goes well.
ReplyDeleteWell--WE might as swell do the best we can to-day--eh????? Lynda
DeleteLynda, I am sure you look even more lovely with your hair freshly done and a new outfit. You know how I know? Your satisfaction comes through by the look on your face, by your confidence and stride.
ReplyDeleteHappy Himself can still recognize what you do and thank you for it!
He's not as out of it as he seems some days.
When I am overloaded with chores, I remind myself it all doesn't have to be done at once. I can decide to wait 'til the morrow for some. Then I sit down at the computer, check if you've blogged yet, check FB for notifications, play a game, interact with Lucky. Later I can do another chore.
The doctor says the Crohn's they have said I have is an autoimmune disease. That's why I tire so easily.
So now it's almost lunch time (tuna salad sandwich today), then a snooze with Lucky.
Hope you get done at least some of what you plan. I will look up that book, too.
Great memes, as always, but that one was not credited to Pooh (or was it Piglet?) {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Miss Maggie-- It sounds like yer day is going well-----It was a good day here also--I even got to cut the front and the septic bed today too-- Hey Trump was found guilty--Good I'd say!-- His poor wife eh?--- Yes, I interrupt my chores also off and on--to check who is responding to the blog--and did I write anything that upset anyone-- Beautiful day here to-day-- and Himself acturally went outside ----big hugs to yu--Lynda--Oh--Sushi doesn't seem right-- I wonder what is going on inside her--not a good sign-- Lynda -oh my Thyroid disease is an autoimmune thing also--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda: Wow, what a great day - hair done, new clothes and some praise from himself! Super. Hope you meet your goals for today especially reading your book and having a nap. I'm glad I got home early because they're paving my street and they let me drive down just before they started. Have a good evening. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda-ye--it was a good day--I even got go cut a lot of grass--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. How nice that you got your hair done and a couple of new outfits. I so need some new clothes, it's been years! I hope you are able to get everything done. Yes, what would we do if we didn't have projects to take care of! I saw the Neurosurgeon and he confirmed - yes, I need a second spinal fusion surgery! So I called for an appointment with my Surgeon and I see him on 6/26. I could have seen him a week earlier but that week we have a trip to Roanoke to see my Granddaughter who is graduating this year. We haven't been since 2019 and I miss them so much! I'm disappointed that I have to have another surgery but hopefully they will be able to fix me once and for all! Daisy and I are headed out to do a little bit of weeding - my body only holds up for a few minutes at a time! Have a lovely rest of your day!
ReplyDeleteLordy BE--I guess you have to just
Delete"buck up" and get that surgery-Daisy and yu got out to pull weeds--definitely not a good thing with yer back the way it is--I shall pray-- maybe the good Lord will hear me eh??--Hugs, Lynda
As Abraham Lincoln said, you’re only as happy as you make up your mind to be. I have to agree. . . being bored w/nothing to do would be FAR worse than having more to do.
ReplyDeleteToday included PT for Jason and a grocery stop for me and . . . the ever important weeding the bumper crop of weeds that have sprung up w/the rains.
Awww, betcha that melted your heart when Himself complimented you on taking in the plants to survive the frost. That’s good.
LOVELY day getting the hair done and getting some new outfits for yourself! AWESOME!

DeleteHair day is always a special treat. We ladies must give ourselves those special treats!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a rocky day here in Emberville, as I overslept her breakfast time and she did not forgive me easily! And then I had the audacity to go to my regularly scheduled trainer workout. We are working our way through it all. Love forgives even where there are hurts, but let's be honest, the puppy had me in tears today.
Tomorrow is another day!
Hugs and blessings,
- Barb (OKM)
