Two days in the year that nothing can be done--

        YES---- To-day is the day--the right day---to love, believe,  do, and mostly to live---You cannot do anything about yesterday----or to-morrow--but-----TO-DAY, YOU CAN____and here, the sun is out and it is a glorious day---not too hot---nor is it too cold--

AND---- I FINALLY got a phone call from my brother--my oldest brother, who lives in a Lodge-- near London, ON.---Remember him?---So He is still alive. His son  called , and put my brother on the phone--  (I do not believe the son likes me--do not know why--as I have not seen him since he was 2 yrs old-)---  It was so good to hear that "brother dear" is alive -When one ages, you see, you always wonder who is still alive or not)-(-It all boils down to "life or death!)-anyway, it made my day---

I found the above interesting--I hope that you are able to read the 6 little stories-on---"Faith"--"Trust"-"Hope" "Confidence"-"Love"and '"attitude", with examples of each--I found it made me feel good  to read the examples and how they relate to our lives-

I hope that your day is going well--that you are happy--- are appreciating being alive---and smiling at older Ladies---and PILOTS. who try to avoid all turbulence in the skies, to keep you safe--and remember that if your dog is getting bitten with insects, "Child-Proof" insect repellant is "DEET FREE-I mean, the poor dog  gets bug bites too--

    It's Kathy. I love the Six Stories and I needed it today. I saw my back surgeon today - he says another spinal fusion surgery. How much metal can they put in one person? I wonder if all that metal makes my scale go up - or is it that doughnut I just ate!!! Tomorrow I have an MRI on my lower back and on my neck and in a couple weeks I will have another bone scan. All these things cost so much! Thankfully I only have to pay the co-pay but that's $100 each. Now I have to decide about gardening. Not sure I want to bother with any of that if I will be laid up for another 3 - 6 months. No vacuuming, no bending over, no twisting or turning. I almost can't bear it! So I will have to change my thoughts into gratitude - I have my health mostly and not being able to do a lot of things could be a blessing in disguise. I'm sure no surgery will be scheduled for a few weeks, so I can still go visit my daughter and her family. I'm glad you got to talk with your older brother! It's always nice to keep in touch with family. Have a wonderful day.

      Kathy--another spinal fusion???How will you ever tolerate that???-And you have to pay for all that??--Holy cow--That will cost a fortune won't it??--I know that my brother is old--- but--- he is my brother--- so, yes it really was good to hear from him--nice day here to-day--but so many black flies--Fred was good also--That makes uh a difference-Lynda

    Weather is great here, too. Wish it was like this more often. If it was, though, we probably wouldn't appreciate it like we do.
    Great news about the childproof bug repellent! The wee little dog must feel great relief. He can enjoy being outside again.
    They delivered a new washer for us today! It's a bit bigger. Now we have 2 working washing machines and 2 dryers! Still not enough for 30 apartment I feel, but better than it has been.
    Sadie already took the garbage and recyclables down. She has some dishes to wash yet. That will be a bit later. Lucky is chomping at the bit for our wee nap. Maybe you will get one, too.

      Maggie--- a new washer--and a large one--Yeahhhhh!--- 2 working washers--Its about time--Yes you need more for sure--Sadie was here also-cleaned a bathroom and cut the front and side lawn-I had to pay her extra--cool here but sunny and a nice day--buggy tho---Hugs dear Sis!

    Hooray Lopez has some bug spray. No doubt he'll feel better on the morning walks.
    Sadie did her chores. Roomba went over the floors.
    Cardio class for me and picked up a few things at grocery store.
    The cicadas are really loud. It stormed last night so it's cooler today. AC off and a few windows open. Yay
