Good morning all---Yes, I do wish you all a peaceful day--- perhaps with a wee rest , after lunch--with your book--As yu know, it is a long weekend, a Holiday weekend, here in Canada--Victoria Day to-morrow--I learned from you all, that your Memorial day is the 27th.
Our grocery stores are open to-day, but at 10am-closed to-morrow--so, guess where I am going this morning?-- YES!!!! back to the grocery--and, yes, I am sending you all , a big hug--- because you are always on my mind--You reinforce to me, that I'm not alone doing what I have to do, and kind of feeling sorry for myself--When I read your messages, I believe that without us , the world might not be the same place--
So--Happy Sunday to you all---and---- I hope that you find a penny to-day-- It just might be a penny from Heaven that an angel tossed to you, maybe, to cheer you up!
Sorry the new mower did not do the job. *SIGH*
ReplyDeleteOh I love the advice to finish each day and be done with it. Mom used to tell us that bit of wisdom often.
OH MY! I have a collection of pennies that I’ve found over the years. I know they are from my brother. Many are from 1982 (when he passed) so I KNOW it’s him sending them. My Dad visits me as a cardinal. It’s just weird. When he passed I was sitting on a bench and a cardinal landed ON THE BENCH so close to me. Didn’t move on feather. Just sat there and looked @ me singing it’s tune. That has happened a few times. Maybe I am a weirdo (but I don’t think so! LOL) but these things are comforting.
Ok, have a blessed Sunday and enjoy the long weekend.
Hugs
Barb

Barb you said it all right--Thee are so many things that happen in lour lives--unexplainable-- but--- I believe someone in our past is watching over us--So good about your brother and the pennies from Heaven eh?--Yu are blesed-Lynda
DeleteTools of the trade, eh? So sorry the mower wasn't up to the task, and I do hope you find something that will work for you!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, so much going on! I have to scoot to get Ember ready for her puppy class.
Hope your Sunday and Victoria Day are good ones... and that the grocery store has the bananas that I am sure are on your list!
LOL--- Yes--There were bananas on my list--LOL-- Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. Happy Sunday to you. Must be the day for mowing, I've heard mowers around here since 7:30 am! One after another until this afternoon it will be my husband's turn. Otherwise it's going to be a quiet day today. Had a nice long chat with Brandon last night! So good to catch up. Have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteNow who is Brandon?---- And ye, it was a lovely day here too-Lynda
DeleteWent to church. The topic? Pennies...
ReplyDeleteOMG--Really??? That is amazing!--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda! I hope you are enjoying our favorite day. Sunny and 84 here in Ohio. My nephews left at 12:30. I am pooped but it was a blast! The 16 year old will be back for the Summer. I think a nap is the plan for me right now. Happy Victoria Day! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear that your day went well--It was a hot day here also--nice tho--Lynda
DeleteGood morning to you, too, sis.
ReplyDeleteGoing shopping today sounds like a good idea. Do you make a list? Mine is often in my head...I come home and think of something I forgot.
Great memes! I have heard the middle verse of the Emerson poem. Glad to have the whole thing!
You didn't mention Himself, so I trust he and the pets are fine. Maybe after the holiday you will be notified of results of the procedure.
Awful about the lawn mower. Hopefully the sales people can recommend one that would better fit your needs.
For me, it's rest today after karaoke, tomorrow doc appointment, Tuesday rest and Wednesday taking JoAnne to the casino. We will only pay Bingo. JoAnne has won over $1000! I won $300once.
Lets all have a happy, peaceful, enjoyable day, Lynda! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Yes, I need my list when I go for groceries-and yes, it might be good to know the results of his scope---He says something about the 27th---- Busy day to-day tho-- --Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda: Sorry the mower didn't work. I guess it's made for smaller jobs where the grass is shorter. Great memes. Too bad we don't use pennies anymore so not many can be found. The Emerson poem - finish the day and be done with it - we all need to remember that we can't change anything that happened. Tonight relax and play the piano. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda-- A holiday to-morrow--happy that I got the shopping done (groceries)- nice and warm today---Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda, great inserts!
ReplyDeleteHave to let yesterday go and not worry about tomorrow....that's why it's called TODAY. Worry changes nothing.
Sorry about the lawnmower...sounds like it's not heavy duty enough for your lawn. Great idea to get a battery unit but hopefully store will recommend a mower that fits your needs better and doesn't need a whole bunch of charging time.
Pennies from Heaven. YES YES I believe thy are from my mom
She's always with me. I love finding pennies.
Hoping your day IS peaceful. Hope there's time for a nap and time to play your piano.
Grocery shopping ugh...but has to be done.
I went to an outdoor farmers market this morning. Unfortunately, no produce..mostly craft type items. There was a whiskers and wags event at the park down the street...puppies for fostering and adoption plus demonstrations of local police departments k9s. Fabulous dogs.
Will your kids grill tomorrow and have you guys over? Not having to cook is something I'm always ready for lol
Whatever you do...relax and enjoy.
Crazy hot in St.Louis 90s. The cicadas have hatched and are everywhere...singing loudly.
Hugs and blessings
Marge/St.Louis
Ohhh Marge--Puppies?????Man oh man, I do miss big Beau--No--=No kids come out--very seldom-- Sad eh?--I tried to get Son#3 and #4 to give me a hand with the mower--but they never came--Hot here Also-I turned on AC--was so happy when it went on--- was afraid to start it-- but I did-- Lynda-
DeleteDoggone it about your mower! We need the right equipment if we are going to get things done! My big zero turn mower has a gasoline engine - takes about 4 gallons to fill it, but it can cut through pretty thick grass without it bogging down. I took my gas cans to the station to fill them this morning, it cost me $30! I got 8 gallons.....and the grasss has been growing so fast that I have to mow twice a week! Between gas and food prices, it is pretty frustrating! On a more pleasant note, the pool is looking good, water is already up to 75 degrees! Was 68 degrees 3 days ago, but it has been 90 degrees here the last 2 days! It was an exciting week-end here. My oldest granddaughter graduated from high school here in town and my youngest grandson had his first communion, but it was in CA so I couldn't be there, but they sent me videos! Love the grandkids so much. Don't know what I would do without them - they keep my heart happy!
ReplyDeleteOh you are so fortunate to have the Grandkids close--I her you when yu say the grass is growing so fast--here too--It was hot here today--I finally turned on the AC and[-IT WORKED--was happy!-- Seems yu never know what will break next-- Hugs Sandra-- Strong Lady--Lynda
