It's Mother's Day

                                                                Happy Mother's Day--

Best wishes to all you Ladies , who give up so much, to take care of your families--You are the best!        We have sunshine---no rain---  Lopez did his business--I mean. what more could I ask?
This picture was taken by our camera  this morning, looking  out to the road -- You can see that it is a glorious day here----  This afternoon I may even get the front lawn trimmed--

So, to-morrow is "D" Day --- Himself goes for ""THE SCOPE"----  Son#1 will get him there--He wants to go to the "Foot Lady" for a toe nail trim at noon--and at that time I will get to the grocery for bananas- (I think he believes this scope is a big deal so needs to look his best--*S*) ---  But it will give me some time to get  his apple juice--(No solid foods to-day he tells me)--

Are you sitting , with your feet up, wearing your crown ?--Moms are in the same category as Queens--(and---do you really believe that? )--  Now--if you had your own way, what would yu be doing to-day?-- What can yuu imagine your vey best day wold consist of? --Now I would love one day where I could just sit with a good book and read all day--My hair dresser would love to be on a cruise ship-----What about you???

-at least we can dream, can't we???--
Son#b sent a few pictures---from London--
BBQ ing at the inlaws and below, the Train station to get there-
Packaged roast beef ready to put inside fresh bread
And---  I must send you big Beau's URN---  It is made of "STEEL" --I placed the ashes in it--
Best wishes for a Happy Day---Moms are the best!
just remember---

  1. Well, good luck to Himself with the scope. And YOU TOO! **SIGH**

Ohhhhhhhh sign me up for the cruise ship. No better way to pamper and relax.

    Wow! That BBQ looks amazing!

Awwwww, that’s a lovely urn for Beau. Thanks for sharing.

    Hope it’s a very Happy Mother’s Day!

  2. Good luck getting Himself through "the procedure." Interesting that he can get by with just one day of no solid food. My husband has to have these every three years and the prep is worse than the procedure itself -- downing a prep solution and lots of water that pretty much roto-rooter anything in your body. So glad that Son #1 will be helping with the logistics.

  3. It's Kathy. Happy Mother's Day to you Lynda. My youngest son arrived a few minutes ago, he's spreading some bags of dirt into my garden. Those 40 lb bags are too heavy for me and my husband's back has been acting up! Bless him - he will be getting us ready made sandwiches for lunch when he's done. And my oldest daughter is coming by later with dinner that I will just have to pop into the oven! YEAH - no cooking for me. A perfect Mother's Day. Daisy and I went out to get some weeds out of the garden but my work is done now. My perfect day is spending it reading! Going to be hot here today, into the 80's. I'm not ready for that, for sure. Enjoy your day!

  6. Love your attitude today and how the day is proceeding for you, sis!
I posted on FB a happy mother's day from the cat. The other meme I posted had my comment: If you are a mom or had one...have a happy day. Or something like that.
Just accomplished a couple errands. Now I'm home eating lunch.
Ive already heard from my daughter and one of my DILs. I'm pretty sure I'll hear from the other 2 before day's end.
You weather looks great...so is ours. Mostly sunny and warm! I went out in shorts.
    Love the BBQ photo...looks yummy.
Last night karaoke was wonderful! During one hop to it song I actually went up on stage and danced...not even holding to my cane!
Now it's time to play with Lucky (I'm eating lunch as I type) and, after not getting to bed 'til 2 AM, taking a nap.
I can do my couple Sadie chores I'm planning afterward.
Hope Himself's procedures to well tomorrow. I'm making an appointment for a pedicure, too. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  7. Happy Mother's Day Linda! I hope your kids treat you like the Queen you are.
Good luck with the Fred stuff tomorrow. Hope all goes well. Enjoy a bit of freedom.
Finally....you are having good weather. Beautiful in St.Louis today. Sunny, 81F, nice breeze. Lovely day.
    Beau's urn is so pretty.
Hoping the kids invite you over or bring food to you so you don't have to cook. My son called, the end of my Mother's Day but that's OK. No expectations.
Sadie was here early. All tidy.
My perfect day....on the beach. No beach near me unless you count banks of Mississippi River. Nope that's not pretty at all.
Take time to read and have a nap.
    Hugs and Blessings
