Do not take life too seriously-

Good Morning---  It is sunny outside--and--it is Monday, March 30th--"The top of the morning to you all~"--Lopez, Sushi, and I, struggled to get out of bed----More and more, it seems every morning is a struggle to get those feet onto the floor--I have taken the daily 1003 pills-- then called the pharmacy , who wants the paper pill pack returned as some now are taken  in the evening , some  in the morning--and need to be ready for the following week-- so, instead of being delivered monthly now, they will be delivered weekly--

And the massive bed is being changed to-day, so I can hear the washer chugging away --seems like there is never a dull moment around here--Lopez has been out--funny--he checks the patio door after I put him in the yard---  looks to see if I am still watching him----

And, we have sunshine--and I think those very cold temperatures have come up-------------

"Blasts from the past"--below--  Allison, with Jacob, her son--somewhere in Ohio--

Below---  a view from our deck, when we lived on Dunlop Lake--

Below--Son #2, the Pilot, with Ethan,

Words of wisdom--  help me thru the day--

#1.--Let go of the "what-ifs"--

#2.Nothing worth having can be purchased.

#3.Being totally alone, at times, can be very healthy.

Below-- Fred, myself and my brother--one year younger

above--another family Christmas

It is a new day--with NO SNOW FALLING--To-day I hope I can understand better what makes people tick--live in the present, and take responsibility for my life, keep an open mind, and remember that the purpose of criticism is to help.-and most of all,
do not take life too seriously--

  1. Good morning, Lynda. I am also having difficulty getting myself up in the mornings. Usually Daisy starts to stir and wants to go outside but this morning she was sleeping in too! Maybe, hopefully, we'll all feel better once Spring really does come! It's teasing us in Minnesota - today it will be in the 70's but possibly snow again Wednesday evening and 30's on Thursday. I need real Spring to come! I hope you have a good day today. The pictures are so fun to look at! Thanks for sharing;

  2. Good afternoon, sis. Great blog today.

We all need to remember those words of wisdom. BTW, "Top 'O the Mornin" is what I say to people on St. Patrick's Day!

It's good the pharmacy is separating your pills for you. It should make it easier.

Great photos. We used to have Christmases like that when I was with my ex, the kids were little and my parents in law were still alive.

It's 64F here and partly sunny! Tomorrow, though, it's back to the 40s. That's still better than it could be.

I just picked up a grocery order. Now it's lunch and nap.

I'll sign off now to fix that lunch, but I will be back later to check for any replies. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  4. Hi Lynda! It is 69 and cloudy in Ohio. Storms tomorrow evening. My nephew who comes every holiday is coming today for Easter. He turned 18 a couple weeks ago and still loves to come visit. I worry when it will end. He graduates in June. We will see what he decides to do. Hope your day is going great. Funny how sweet Lopez checks to see if you are watching him. You are a great mom! Hugs!

  5. Lynda, are you thinking of moving to Ohio? I saw above you saying you'd be closer to Allison but would miss the 3 boys. I thought when you moved back to Elliott Lake it was because your friends were there and your hair dresser. Take care
