DeleteGood morning, sis.
ReplyDeleteI am happy the grief session helped you. Yes, we all deal with grief in our own way. I (so far) have done well with that. Remember almost a year ago when my adopted sister, Joanne (with the bariatric walker) passed. In a way, I was happy. I knew she was no longer in pain and still with me in Spirit. Same with my mama back in 1995. I still feel them with me. Especially mama. She helps me through all kins of things. Now when Lucky makes his transition to spirt, it will be different.
We are due here to get 7 inches or more snow tomorrow. And lighter snow starting later today.
I ordered an HP printer online. I haven't had one for a couple years.
You never did come back Thursday or Friday like you said you would, but I know how busy you are and how hard it is to deal with that snow.
I'll go now and come back to check back later. I'm hoping the laundry room is free. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
I returned but just today and last nite--Everyday is busy right now--but--no more grief sessions which will help me time-wise--Lynda
Deletesomething like 3 ft of snow will fall here overnight--Lordy Be!!--Lynda
DeleteSo glad to hear from you today! Was worried as you said you would be back yesterday, but then were not. (I was worried about you!). But so happy to hear you were at a Grief Conference. It surely does help to be with others who have been widowed! And I hate hearing that you are having all that snow! So wonderful that your son came and got you for dinner and then brought you home! Our families are so precious to us! My granddaughter is coming to help me today to paint some trim and touch up some places that my contractor didn't take care of! Feeling blessed! Hoping you can deal with all that snow....stay safe and warm in your sweet little home and snuggle up with your fur babies!
ReplyDeleteand more snow due to fall to-morrow--I am so sorry that I didn't return Sandra when I thought I would-- and so sorry yu were worried--I totally forgot about that new grief session--but--It was good--and it helps a lot--So good to see how well yu do--nice!--Lynda
DeleteDays are so so busy aren't they??--Lynda
DeleteGood morning, Lynda! It is sunny and calm in Ohio. We had a tree to come uprooted yesterday in the high winds that lasted for 16 hours! Most did not have power. We did! Roads were blocked. Fields on fire from fallen power lines. It was a mess. Your snow does not sound much better. It sounds like you had a good day with your grief session and dinner with your son. How wonderful! Hope you have a blessed Saturday! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYes Allison told me about those winds--We just had lotza snow--which was terrible--Lynda
DeleteGood Morning Lynda,
ReplyDeleteI hope the Grief workshop was a help for you. Getting together with others who have lost loved ones probably helps when you all share your loss.
Sorry you are dealing with a lot of snow again. Doesn't sound like it was good to be out driving in that weather. Nice that your Son#1 took you to his house for dinner.
If you have more snow today, it might be good to hang out and watch movies.
Whatever you do, have a fantastic day!
Hugs,
Jackie
Yes Jackie--more snow to-morrow-- Lynda
DeleteJackie it was so nice that Son#1and wife invited me or dinner--That does help when one is alone--Lynda
DeleteGood morning Lynda, happy Saturday to you. Attending another grief group is a good idea because being amongst people that have also suffered a loss helps you to understand that you are not alone in your grieving. Wonderful that son #1 picked you up for dinner at his house and brought you home. I am so, so sorry that you're experiencing such wicked weather. I believe the entire Country is experiencing unusual weather for this time of year. Here, in my area of California, we're going to have weather in the 90s from Monday through Saturday. That is definitely something we haven't experienced before in March. I hope your weekend goes well, despite being homebound because of the weather. Bless you.
ReplyDeleteMaureen from California
It's Kathy. I hope you are safe from the storm. We are expecting over a foot of snow by morning. Tom is checking all the snow equipment - we've not had to use it much this winter. We have to go to an Archery Tournament this afternoon, and I really wish we could just stay home. But life continues, even in the snow. It was very nice of your son to pick you up for dinner last night and take you hone again. Have a good day.
