  2. Morning Lynda,
When I saw that on the news this morning, I immediately thought of Matt but I seemed to remember he mostly flies to European Destinations. Glad he is safe. It is heartbreaking though for the families of those two pilots who died.

I hope you have a good day!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  6. Good morning Lynda, thank you for letting us know. When I saw the plane it looked different from the photos you shared with us, and you hadn't mentioned Matt flying to the US. Of course Matt and Erin are upset because I'm sure both of them probably knew both pilots and possibly flew with them at one time or another. It seems it was the error of a traffic controller, but I know there's a shortage of traffic controllers, which is not a good fit for such a busy airport. Relax and play your newly tuned piano. Bless you.

    2. Lynda, I know you are already in bed because of the time difference. Your eye appt is tomorrow, but I don't know what time you and son #1 need to leave for the appt. Rest assured you are in my prayers for the eye exam. I hope you see this in the morning before you leave the house.

  8. You knew that our first thoughts on reading the news would be of you and son#2, didn't you? I immediately thought, "No, he doesn't fly regional, he flies international, doesn't he?" But even while relieved that he and your family are all OK, these are people he probably knows, and that's rough! So sad, and thinking of those pilots' families.

    Hugs

  9. It's Kathy. I thought of you as soon as I saw that airplane. I am so sad for those pilots' families. What a terrible thing to happen. I used to have to go to New York for my job but I'm pretty sure I always flew into Newark and then Taxi'd to where I had to be. It was a nicer airport. Thank you for letting us know your Son #2 is safe!
