Spring has Sprung-I think!

Good morning--It is Monday, March the 9th--I am up--as is Lopez--and Sushi --It sure was difficult to put my feet on the floor--  I think the time change has made it that way--Why on earth do we have this "time change" anyway?--It just messes us all up--and somehow my phone must have  done an update overnight--and everything has moved around--  so, I must figure it all out here--  will be back--

NOW_--  THE ABOVE WOULD BE NICE-- WOULDN"T IT?
Son #3 just arrived--sorted out my phone--did it in 2 minutes--  "You tap on a name--then scroll down and press "PIN" ---he just showed me--So happy the phone is back the way it should be--Thank Heavens for grown kids to help me out!---

So--Are you happy this AM??--and feeling strong??--  and feeling as if you have this new day under control?--Lord love a Duck! Some days are more difficult than others--Spend a little time to-day for to-morrow--but not too much so that it ruins to-day.--Rise early--and of course, put your best foot forward--

Below--  Son #2 and his wife  and Gerrard , their pooch--

and below--me , back row-- with my 2 sisters, ready for church--at our cottage , in Port Stanley---note--the hats-I remember that it was a very cold Spring day--
--above--  the dock at the lake-- with 2 Germans at the end of the DOCK (see them?)
                                    above--Fred's Retirement at the clinic
--So so many memories--and so so much to think about--with wise memories-- such as --
#1, You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
#2.If you want to get somewhere, know where you are going.
#3.Life begins every morning when you wake up.

Well, I still have not received anything from the ministry , telling me not to drive-although the mail has not come yet--so hard for me to believe that all this is happening-- I do see that the sun is out--  so, I must "hoof it"  around the block with little Lopez--nice to see the sun---
I hope that your day goes well--make it go well-- Put your best foot forward--and trust in yourself--Long faces make short lives!

  1. Morning Lynda,
The sun is out here and it's supposed to reach the low 70's F.
Going to get a workout in, have some breakfast and head to the grocery store.
We'll see how the time change affects me as it usually takes me a few weeks to adjust. So far so good, but it's only been a day.

Well, hopefully you won't receive a letter stating you can't drive. Don't let worrying about it ruin your day.

    Have a happy Monday!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  2. Good morning Lynda, I agree that this time change affects everyone. Such nonsense, they should choose one time and stick with it. I hope your day goes well. Nice photo of Matt and his wife. The photo of Fred and clinic workers is so sweet. Enjoy your day and better weather.

  3. Good morning, sis. I had my comment all done an hit the wrong key...it disappeared! I meant to copy it email to myself in case it doesn't post (they actually tell you to do that in the instructions).

It's 42F here now and due to climb to 69F!!!

Such wonderful photo memories you have! Doggies on the dock, family with their doggies...and that celebration of Fred's retirement looks like the people he worked with really appreciated his service.

I did a large load of laundry yesterday and will do another today or tomorrow.

I need to pay insurance and make a doc appointment with an ortho physician for my shoulder.

Those phone issues are difficult to deal with, especially after an update. Sometimes I have trouble finding the app I want. Wish I coul have your son move things around for me!

Well, we're up. Need to prioritize our activities to be sure to include time for relaxation. I hope your day proceeds just as you wish...or better. I will be back. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  4. Glad you are having some sunny, warmer days! It will really feel like spring if some of the snow melts away! And I sure do know what you mean about your phone being messed up! I got a new phone and a new watch and now it is like I am having to do everything all over again - as the apps don't open, or I have to put in my password, etc. What a pain.....but I guess I shouldn't be complaining, right? My kids are the ones that help me sort things out too! Don't know what I would do without them! Hair cut and color for me this afternoon, so I won't get as much done today as I was hoping so I better get busy! Wondering since your license was just renewed if they can revoke it? Sorry that you have to keep waiting for them to contact you by mail! The mail here is so slow! Some people call it "snail mail". - and remember how long it took that little book I sent you to get to you in the mail?!!
