Survive now_Cry Later---

a busy morning
Good Morning--It is Friday----March 20th--Frances, the Piano tuner is coming this afternoon--Remember him?? The poor piano did not like  the move--Pianos do not enjoy being moved--  so-it desperately needs a tuning--He said he will be in this area this afternoon, so will come to tune it.--This morning, Dave is picking me up--for breakfast--AND--- GUESS WHAT?---There is more snow outside---  LORDY BE!  AND IT WAS ALL CLEANED UP LAST NIGHT_(_My snow boys were here)--and now there is more--looks like about 6 more inches--to fall on  what seems like tons and tons of deep snow--

Man oh man---  We certainly need SPRING in this area-----More shovelling to do--
I shall return--I must move the clothes --the dryer is waiting--Also, the heat needs to be turned up---still winter outside--"Never give up, for sure"-- Also, Son# 2 is winging his way back to Canada from Britain--Pilots  get up early--He has already called--He said this morning to me---"Wake-y Wake-y Mom--Rise and Shine"-----Time means nothing to Pilots-
Wise Words I wish I'd Written--

Me--never dreaming I would out-live Fred

Son #2 --the Pilot with Hannah his daughter
So, Dave just called-- will not be coming early--maybe even 12 noon--as the plows have not been around and the snow is deep--Lordy Be! We do need Spring!
So I must get on with the day--Remember to be  kind  to all to-day--Even the darkest cloud has a silver lining--so hang in there!b

  1. Happy Friday Lynda,
Snow! Snow and more Snow! Sounds like you are getting everybody's snow.
Nice that you and Dave are going out for breakfast, well maybe lunch now, since it will be later. Both of you be safe out on the snowy roads.
Hope the piano tuner doesn't come when you are still out. Nice that he will be able to tune it for you.

Love the throw back pictures as always!

    Have a great day!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  3. Wow! You had a busy day. Glad your piano is tuned now. How awesome that Dabe picked you up for breakfast – especially w/more snow. Sheesh, time for Mother Nature to fliop the calendar . . . it’s Spring!

LOVE the photo of Hannah w/her Dad. Lovely.

Well, glad you have your piano tuned. Makes playing more enjoyable.

    Stay safe w/the snow.

  4. Good morning, sis.

Goodness...all that snow. Honey, if I am ever able to visit you, it won't be in the winter!

It is due to be in the low 60s here today. Most of our snow will be melted by the end of the day.

Love the blasts...adorable baby held by her great grandma, that must be Fred behind you at his desk. Allison and her family, if I'm correct with her name.

I am washing today, also. I now have all the paperwork to get my taxes done, too. Lots of easy exercises to do from my physical therapist.

Now I'm gonna call the tax place to make an appointment. I have given up trying to do it on my own.

I'll come back later, of course. MAKE YOURSELF a great day, too. I like your reminder to ask for help. As I have 'aged' I have learned I sometimes need to do that. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. Good morning Lynda, yes I remember your piano man. He has served you well over the years. Great photos as always. Today will be 96 degrees where I live and then it will down into the 80s. I wish I could share it with you. I don't like the heat and I never thought I would need to use my A/C in March. Electricity is so expensive in California, so I know I will be in for a shock when my electricity bill comes. I hope you had an enjoyable meal with Dave and good conversation. That's almost more important than what you ate. Hang in there, warmer weather is on the horizon.

  6. It's Kathy. I'm so sorry you're still deaing with so much snow. We have had 2 warm days and our snow is almost gone. Today it may reach 60 degrees! Not so much sunshine today but we'll probably have our snow gone by end of day. Although the wet ground isn't great - I do love that it's finally warming up. Enjoy your meal with Dave and have a good day. Spring will come to you soon, I'm sure.
