#2. The good and the bad that you do in your lifetime lingers on after you have left
#3.You cannot always oblige, but we can always speak obligingly.
#4. Love so that your children know that you are fair. caring, and full of integrity.

ReplyDeletewe may get some rain here this afternoon that will be great as long as it does not flood some areas near by did get some flooding this is because it is so dry and when it rains hard it does not get a chance to soak in to the ground it just runs off
I love the photo of Fred in the office he looks so much like the Dr that delivered my oldest son in the military I really liked and trusted that Dr.
I pray for safe travels to Allison and her family enjoy the visit with them

Lovely day here to-day-sunny --Lynda
DeleteGood Morning!
ReplyDeleteHappy Hump Day!
You must be so excited to see Allison and that's great she's coming up for a visit.
I hope Lopez is having a better day today. Sounds like he was just having a day yesterday.
Temperatures have cooled off here after thunderstorms and a cold front moved in last night. There were a couple of tornadoes that touched down not that far from us. Luckily, we just had heavy rain.
It's going to be sunny and low 70's F today compared to mid 90's and humid, which it's been for weeks.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Hugs,
Jackie
Hi Jackie-- So happy Allison will be here--not Jacob but Sophia and her husband Mark will here--- It will be fun--Lynda
DeleteGood morning, sis. I have been 'up and at her' for quite awhile.
ReplyDeleteI leave in an hour to get my foot spa. That'll be interesting. It's done by nurses at our Senior Center.
Got my kitchen and bathroom rugs washed and ready to lay down on clean floors. Garbage to go out later.
Love the blasts. Have seen some before...like the photo of you on the beach with your baby. The Chinese restaurant, the food, the family...are great. Also the snowmobile trail with Jacob and the photo of him with Dr Fred in his office.
You didn't mention plans, but I hope your day is wonderful. Oh, we have cooler weather, too. It's only 67F here now. I plans to be just a bit warmer as the day progresses.
Back later, Lynda. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Hello Maggie--Allison and her crew will not arrive till to-morrow--will stay around Macinack Island probably-- a nice area-- lovely day here to-day--Lopez and I were pout shopping--groceries-- Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. It's quite chilly here too although I haven't had to turn on the heat, but I did close up all the windows and put on a flannel shirt! Daisy and I are just hanging out today - I didn't sleep very well last night. Just can't seem to turn off my brain! I hope you have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteAww Kathy--Your poor brain--overworked----I ho you get to relax this afternoon-- Yu deserve it----just close your eyes and dream-- hold Daisy--She would love that too--Lynda
Deletelovely day here --sunny--=not too hot--Lynda
DeleteGood morning Lynda, great photos once again. I noticed in the photo of several of you at the Chinese restaurant, that Allison was the only one using chopsticks. I enjoy Chinese food and have tried using chopsticks, but was never successful. Another hot and muggy day here. I'm not one to wish away time, but I am longing for Fall-like weather. It will be nice to having Allison , her husband and Sophia for a visit. You will be able to use your new deck when they come to you home. Enjoy the day Lynda,

Good afternoon, Lynda! Can you believe it is only 68 in Ohio today? Allison picked a good time to travel in cooler weather. Also, without smoke. How exciting she is visiting with Sophia! Good news that Matt is close to home. I bet you get to see him soon. I hope you are having a great day! Big hugs!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the blast from the past photos Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThat will be so wonderful to see Allison. I know you can’t wait and I am sure she feels the same!

Hi, Lynda. We had a doozy of a thunderstorm yesterday, heavy heavy rain and winds, it took down lots of trees in areas, took a new roof off a church in the downtown area, but our condos were not touched. Microbursts, they call it. It was a most pleasant day today, 69 degrees. MY kind of weather. I leave the air on, it will come on and off as it wants, lol. It needs to stay at 68, and 65 for sleeping.
ReplyDeleteToday we got our new iPads at work and were taught how to use the software on them and take our pictures. Seems straightforward and easy enough, only now we have to print out barcodes and have a scanner and go out and scan them to a shelf. I quite enjoyed it! However, I've kind of gotten amped up and I hope I sleep well tonight. I have restless leg syndrome lately, and it's gotten worse, and my one leg jerks and jerks.
I am excited for you to have your company. I know I love it when I have company! I used to have company when my ex boyfriend stayed for the weekend, but now it's only seldom if Columbus friends come to visit.
Marti
It's late as I just read your blog.....but I sure hope you see my reply as the picture of you with son #1 Andrew made me do a "double take" as the blue "car bed with extendable legs" is the exact same one I had for my first born son too! Of course I used it for the other 3 kids that followed, but what a throw back memory for me! I will have to look through my old photos to see if I can email you one so we can share a laugh about having the same baby equipment so many years ago! Hope you have a great time with your daughter and her family! I had an awesome week with my youngest son and his family from CA for several days before the 4th of July holiday! So nice to be our kids and grandkids that don't live close to us! And of course we always get to enjoy the ones that do live closer!
