Always Be a Strong Woman!

Oh My LORD1 --  It feels so cold outside--  Frost was predicted overnight--  I do not think we got the frost--We have sun tho--Lopez has not been out yet but he is uip--as is Sushi.

Yesterday, Son#2 had to go to Britain--on his way back last night, he had to turn around due to a mechanical--so it seems he was late returning here by the time the problem, whatever it was, was fixed--and this morning, he is still on his way back here--but--nearly here--I think maybe he stayed in Ottawa last night--Poor guy!

To-night I have to go in to get my eye lenses "lazar-ed"---I am kinda nervous about the whole procedure--I just hope it helps to clear the fuzz I have in both eyes.- I was told this happens in 50 per cent of the people who have had cataract surgery. I never knew that before.

It is erarly , but, how are you?--  Are you "hsppy and you know it"?-----or feeling more like Oscar the grouch--?---  You might as well be happy!  Sometimes a good scream now and then, helps--Try it!

I shall grab a jacket and "hit the road"---with little Lopez--This day is beginning---IT SEEMS LIKE             A GOOD DAY TO BE CREATIVE--So, Go On----

Paint, Draw, Knit, Sew, Cook, Crochet, Dance, Sing, Write, Sing, Bake,
                                                    and---- always,
                                                                 BE A STRONG WOMAN!

  1. Good Morning, Lynda!
Happy Tuesday! Today is my Mom's 88th birthday. I will be giving her a call later today as I don't live close by.
It's raining here today and will be off and on all day. We have had more than enough rain here lately.
Will be thinking of you today as you have your eye procedure. I am sure it will go well and then you will be rid of the blurriness.

  2. Hi Lynda, Thank you for my morning dose of positivity. I hope you know how helpful your messages are.
Not to worry about eye procedure. Fast and done.
Enjoy this day. Stay busy and get out of the house a bit.
    Hugs. Much love

  3. It's Kathy. I have to admit, when I got up this morning I was a bit like Oscar the Grouch. We have heavy rain falling and it should stay around all day long. Good for the gardens and the grass, I guess. I did go to the gym for my Pilates class and even though there are still some things I just can't make my right leg do, I feel so much better. And I'm home now for the rest of the day! So I guess that makes me happy! Oh, another thing. My daughter's lawyer put together a document filled with questions for Bryan to answer in preparation for trial (because Bryan won't compromise - he wants 50% custody so he doesn't have to pay child support). He received it yesterday and called my daughter crying! I think the jerk knows he's losing and wants to guilt her into agreeing with what he wants. The millionaire found a broken bike in a dumpster and pulled it out for his 6 year old son to learn how to ride a bike. Of course since the bike doesn't work right little Jake is frustrated! Who does that!! Well, that is my little rant for today but I'm happy that he is finally realizing that he may not get what he wants! Have a lovely day and I pray that all goes well for you tonight.

  4. Goodness, glad Son #2 was able to turn around and get things made right before travelling safely home. Technology is amazing, is it not?

Yay for today being your lazer-the-lenses day!! You'll be singing that song "I can see clearly now ..."

    Happy Tuesday.

  5. Definitely it is an ugly day. Has rained all day and is very cold. Ah well. Spring may reappear sometime.

I had to have my eyes lasered, too. Easier than the cataract surgery itself. Quicker. You’ll be glad you did it.

Busy day w/PT and OT here for Jason. He’s exhausted afterwards. Don’t blame him.

Glad that DS #2 is safe after his mechanical troubles! Scary. But I am sure he’s trained how to handle these situations.

    Hugs and blessings

  6. I may be shortly behind you with that "unfuzzing". My sister had to have it done last year, and I didn't hear about it until my second surgery last October.

Glad for all the safety precautions the airlines do make. Let's keep the pilots and passengers out of danger by prevention of problems!

We're having those roller-coaster temperatures here, too... we had a preview of Summer, now it seems Fall-like, can't seem to make up its mind!

Whether happy or grouchy, life goes on, and it's precious!

    (( hugs ))
